A little about me: 31, Married for two years. I was introduced to MRP by a buddy of mine about 3 weeks back, and holy shit - this is a boat I should have gotten onto sooner.

Anyways, been drinking from the firehose since then. I've skimmed through a lot of posts, especially from TheFamilyAlpha and Bluepillprofessor, as these hit really close to home. I have NMMNG and WISNIFG on my phone and I am blasting through WISNIFG.

I have made STFU my best friend, and I am, for the first time, looking forward to improve myself for me.

This is my first post and I am looking for ideas from fellow men here about the following:

I have a medical condition that prevents me from lifting any sort of weights. Not letting perfect be the enemy of good, I am exploring options with my doctors: how much is safe, can I do bodyweight training etc.

I am allowed to do any amount of cardio - biking, swimming etc. - I am an avid swimmer and swim 30-40 minutes 5x a week.

Question: Lifting is Step#1, as TFA and many other members have said in various posts. And I fully understand this from my lifting sessions before my medical condition developed (used to love some squats). But if I can't lift/have huge biceps and a rock hard back, are my chances to improve the relationship with the wife doomed?

(I know I am being a beta bitch by crying on askMRP and wanting someone to tell me I will be able to make it work in spite of my condition. Ass kicking is welcome and generously accepted)
