well, we just had the baby talk. i've always been ready to go go go and N's been a bit more conservative about it, so when he said yesterday that he wanted to have the conversation i was expecting a start date a little ways down the track. he plans everything out pretty meticulously so i thought we'd have savings goals to hit, investments to make, all sorts of things to achieve.

he told me "when you say it's time, it's time"

it's so exciting/intimidating/rewarding to be given ultimate control over such a huge decision. i love that he trusts me to take charge of this and make the right plans for our family!

I'm 5 months pregnant and I was always exhausted by the time my husband came home from work. By the time we went to bed I could only think about sleep, so our intimate times had dwindled to the weekends because I have more energy earlier in the day.

Occasionally he could come home for lunch and we managed to have sex once after my son went down for his nap, but I knew I couldn't rely on that. So, after waking up a little early one morning I decided that would be the best time. He always wakes up before me and I just sent him a text from upstairs saying, "I'm awake and I'm thinking about you". Great success! Haha.

I'm so proud of myself for taking charge and trying to find a solution instead of just resigning us to less sex for the rest of the pregnancy.

My boyfriend and I got draped, and my field report is coming to FNF soon but I just had to share. It was exciting to me because, since we spend so much time together or with family, I have been seeing more of our differences lately. Not in the discord sense... but just awareness of our differences. Doing this draping, I saw our similarities again. "Are you going to wear a lot of pink now that you know you can?" "... fuck it. Yeah. The only downside would be putting up with my brother's digs, but all I have to say is, 'But don't I look kickass?' It seems like a waste to not wear something so loud when I can do it so well." I fell in love all over again, because that's my world view that he sees, too. We must because we can.

My boyfriend was having a hard time in college for a few weeks in a row, and I knew just telling him he can lean on me for support wouldn’t prompt him to. He’s a long drive away, but I wanted him to feel as supported and loved as possible; I sent him a little package full of small crafts that I made like mini paintings of his cats, origami animals, doodles of us together, tiny candies, and little notes about each mini present, all wrapped individually in tissue paper. He loved receiving the package as if it was 10 separate small gifts and he sent me the most heart meltingly loving messages after he received it.

I'm on vacation with my dad so my boyfriend is a longer drive away and we have not seen much of each other. But he gives me a song to fall asleep to every night, and this makes me feel more connected to him.

When we did meet at some point he touched my arm and it jiggled which sent me into a panic! But he just said my skin was soft which I think illustrates his focus in contrast with mine so well. Where I see a flaw he sees how different I am from him. Besides I also think women are far more brutal about details.
