The conclusion that many of the commenters of that thread came to was that men were more concerned with pushing society forward and taking care of society that way, whereas the women felt that society should take care of them regardless of their career path.

This isn't entirely wrong, but there is more to it, biologically speaking.

Because to me it seems the high IQ women were not avoiding hard work out of laziness or because they believe society should support them, but because they wanted to put their efforts towards influencing society in the feminine way. That the women in this top tier of intelligence are in fact as concerned with pushing society forward every bit as much as their male counterparts, but being that they are intelligent women, they can see that going about it in a masculine way would be less effective for them than trying to influence society femininely.

This is EXACTLY right. Men and women are different and this is what RP talks about; hence we haven't different motivators. But that doesn't mean what men contribute is better than women; just different. We both need each other.

And if they really are doing their part for society, should they not be supported by that society?

Ehh you're on TRP not marriedRP so this doesn't surprise me; the men on there tend to not value women other than sex. MRP seems to understand the legitimate strengths and weakened sees of both sexes.

Very cool! In addition to having children and being mothers, women also get involved in charity work and events that strengthen their community. Married women who have less demanding jobs or don't work at all are also better able to support their husbands as needed. All of these roles are important, and I don't think it matters if they are equally important. To me at least it shouldn't be a competition, the end result is what matters, and the most optimal results for most families and communities occur when gender roles are upheld.

Oh! I was talking to my BF about this yesterday and one of the things we came to is that there is always this assumption that women who don't choose career over family are somehow less than. They are not as smart or not as capable. This article helps dispell that myth, in fact it may be the smarter choice.

Recently I have thought a lot about feminine and masculine energy and their expression in civilization. If it is masculine to bend reality, it is feminine to tend to conceived reality. These traits go hand in hand to create harmony.

It is sad to see the comments saying "Even smart women would rather game the system" when it is so obvious that the things man (and woman to lesser extent or in an indirect way perhaps) has created aren't being taken care of (for eg: home, children, community) because we are all busy trying to play man's game and succeed in those same metrics.
