Because men’s happiness doesn’t flourish through vanity. Being chubby as a guy at least you can succeed in life by other means, we got other things going for us because our bodies aren’t our only quality lol. You can have the unhealthiest frame imaginable and still build an empire as we’ve done throughout history. An obese woman can’t, her body is “her temple” and her selling point. We are the textbook definition of “dont judge a book by its cover” while the vain woman is nothing but a cover with no contents.

Body positivity is ruinous. It's not a positive thing to be on the verge of a plethora of severe health conditions and horrible pain from ailing joints and nerves. If anything, telling people that they are wonderful despite eating far more than you need and sitting around while doing it, is cruel.

You ONLY see women openly demand that society praises and glorifies obesity as being sexy / beautiful, which is not about "body positivity" but down right destructive, so children are brain washed into thinking that being morbidly obese is normal for them as their mother is obese.

At least obese men are fun to be around around, whilst the same can't be said about obese women.

Honestly, I’m quite glad no one told me that I look good or that I’m handsome when I was fat. Being called out for being out of shape helped me realize I was on the wrong path. I don’t think I would have gotten in shape if my friends didn’t call me fat.

I think society puts more of a pressure on women to be beautiful than it does to men & also majority of the people suffering from anorexia are female
