If you're trying to dig deep and find some bullshit philosophical answer- the alternative of not improving is much fucking worse than actually grinding your ass at whatever you do. To accept existentialism is to give up, because yeah, there's no purpose, so what? Are we supposed to soak that in and not do anything with our lives? I'd rather improve myself on all aspects, including physical appearance and have a long lasting feeling of fulfillment at the end of the day than indulge myself in temporary pleasures by masturbating and playing video games.

I started exercising when my child was born so that I would be able to keep up as they grew. I didn't want to be the lazy dad that never played, or couldn't play. Becoming sexier was a plus.

Lifting has been a huge confident booster for me and I do like the increase attention from females. I'd say 50% for myself 50% for getting the type of women I want.

I started because I knew that it will help me with getting chicks but I was well aware from the beginning that it won't make chicks propose to me because of my body.

The first 2 months or so were a bit hard but after that everytime i missed a workout I felt like I was going insane. The gym is a part of my life and I want to be able to lift weights until the day I'll die.

Honesty I started because I thought it would increase my attractiveness hence attract more pussy. But after the first year, I continue to do it for all the other benefits and girls just happen to happen. I don’t do it for the girls anymore.

Ever been to a ward to see some dudes with cardiovascular problems due to being obese and having high cholesterol? I have to regularly. I can guarantee that most of those guys would beg for a chance to go back and take better care of themselves through diet and exercise.

Sometimes I get really into lifting for a period, and sometimes I do it for health and because I respect my body. Most people don't give a shit what they look like and it's only an hour or so every other day. Pretty simple. I really don't give a shit about women in general, but would rather be in shape than fat.

I lift so I can set goals for myself and feel confident when I reach them, always pushing myself. It gives me dedication and keeps me motivated. After a good workout I'm full of eneryg. Not doing it for the girls.

My primary goal in lifting is that my doctor told me that my bad colestoral was almost 500 and if I did not do something about it I would be dead by 40. I have dropped that bad colestoral number by 280 points with just diet and exercise alone. Women liking to come up and fondle my muscles is a nice side effect and a great confidence boster.

You lift because it makes you strong, it improves your frame, keeps your blood flowing, improves your self-esteem, which is more a life trait than anything else. Women come along the way, your life, where you want to go in life is what’s important. Women are there to accompany you along the way.
