Hello everyone! As shown in the title, please recommend me movies/books/shows/magazines/music from the past decades (20s-90s) that focus on women's beauty, fashion style, feminine behavior and mannerisms, and highlight good virtues. A small description of it and how it helped you or what you liked about it would be nice!

For starters: I've watched 'My Fair Lady' (1964) a musical starring Audrey Hepburn and it's about a professor who transforms her mainly through speech lessons. Being well-spoken and paying attention to your voice tone helps a lot more than I thought and many unforgettable actresses like Hepburn, Bisset, Monroe, and others spoke in an appealing and feminine way.

Another one which might sound odd (would it be considered NSFW?): Observing the 60s up until the 80s women in the Playboy magazine. Besides their great bodies, the majority were depicted as girl-next-door women which is what made them so appealing. Pay attention to their facial expressions, pose, clothes, and setting most of them possessed a certain captivating look and a twinkle in their eyes, their smiles were either innocent or seductive, most of the pictures were natural. It cannot be compared to today's photoshopped, airbrushed, and professionally taken photos of many models today that pose with either no expression or a 'sexy' forced-looking one. Hugh Hefner himself spoke about this in 1967:

Consider the girl we made popular: the Playmate of the Month. She is never sophisticated, a girl you cannot really have. She is a young, healthy, simple girl - the girl next door . . . we are not interested in the mysterious, difficult woman, the femme fatale, who wears elegant underwear, with lace, and she is sad, and somehow mentally filthy. The Playboy girl has no lace, no underwear, she is naked, well-washed with soap and water, and she is happy.

This is not to say that elegant underwear and lace is repelling (it's actually the opposite), but the main focus is on the body-language and facial expression. This is also not only evident in Playboy but other 60s-80s magazines and photographs as well!
