New to TRP and I feel as if the blinders have been taken off. Not only do relationships make more sense through this lens, success in the corporate world does as well (anecdote inside)

Everything starts to make more sense when you discover TRP

You!

Go Read 48 laws of power RIGHT NOW! Its gonna make a lot more sense after that and you can begin playing their games right back at them and with them. If you aiming for high corporate you better learn that crap and become VERY good at it.

I'm putting together a list of books to read, got any more suggestions?

The Rational Male - Rollo Tomassi

No Mr Nice Guy - Robert Glover

The Way of the Superior Man - David Deida

The Book of Pook - Pook

How To Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Models by Mark Manson

I can vouch for half this list being excellent. They're all somewhat flawed in one way or another, in particular I think "Models" is a bit overrated and clunky, but the beauty of reading from all these different sources is that you get several different angles and viewpoints that let you better triangulate the wisdom that applies most to you and your life.

Thanks, all these titles ring bells! I'm going to set up a big order at amazon.

"Office Politics" by R Don Steele. It is intended to women, but 99% still applies. Very un-PC

Wait he's only 5'2? Then you're obviously lying. All short men are doomed for failure and a miserable life.

At least that's what the blue pillers in r/short think.

what do you mean knuckles always facing forward?

[–]ocho-muerte2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

From what I understand about posture, this is a bad thing. It typically means "curl bro" status, meaning if you do work out you do a lot of chest and arm exercises, which causes your shoulders to round forward and your knuckles to face forward.

Out of curiosity though were any of the people listed above grandfathered into their situation?

It's one thing to grow/become TRP, and another to have their life catered so that they become TRP. Because once you take away that foundation they'd probably change.

Doesn't matter (besides curiosity)

For many men today, it takes some event, epiphany, or some accidental elevated perspective to get clued in. For me, I began to realize people's true nature when I went from 230 lbs @ 5'9" to 150 lbs and placing in local 5ks. I was once invisible to everybody, but now people do silly things performing for me.

Can you explain the sporadic interest in your life? How would you apply that?

There's gotta be a way to use to this on women as well

I was under the impression it was part of "dread game".
