I have honestly stopped counting years ago but grosso modo I would say between 70 to 80.

My view on romantic relationships has changed in the past year not due to finding more partners but due to giving all of me to just one. I went backpacking for a long time and racked up a lot of notches. It was really really fun to be honest because we were doing it as a group and we felt like slayers, travelling someplace and wiping the floor with women.

But in the end the novelty dissipates, and I find myself much happier today trying to build something with one girl who gives me as much as I give her.

My mentality towards women though is the same as before, I love them, and I don't fear them, at all. I don't want to deal with any of their bullshit though, I don't need to.

Even as a young 20 something, too many to count. I will say this, I live by 5 rules when it comes to women.

They don’t belong to you, it’s just your turn. Enjoy the ride!
Try to withhold most if not all emotional feeling/connection. Women are fickle and get distracted very easily. One day they’ll be ready to lick your dirty drawers and the next you’re getting the cold shoulder. Doesn’t matter if you’re a 9 making 6 figures doing everything right, the 10 making 7 figures will peak her interest.

Plus being less emotionally invested makes ltrs last longer, and it’s easier to walk away once they end. I will say it’s up to you if you want to try and pull her back in, but unless you really like her for more than the physical aspects, it isn’t worth the effort.

Do not under any circumstances put your trust in women, this means giving them financial access to your accounts, going raw during sex, yadda yadda bang. I’ve never personally been cheated on(to my knowledge) or burned, but I’ve seen some sick shit, and I’ve had my own personal suspicions but you have to man the fuck up and dead fuckery from the beginning
Do not get into a serious relationship if your money is funny. Seriously have your shit together. Save yourself the stress and effort. Having your shit together makes a world of difference. I personally learned this the hard way.

The only time I counted was after my divorce when I racked up over 20 women in less than two years (and had two relationships during that time too). I needed validation that I could get laid any time I wanted to in order to stop worrying so much about NOT getting laid.

Now I'm over it and have settled down but that confidence still stays.

I think what most men need to do is be a man whore for a while in order to discover what they really want. Unfortunately most men have no ability to do so because their looks and game suck. When I was in my 20's I had no clue and never could have done what I did in my 40's.

For me an average of 2 to 3 new first dates every week is a healthy minimum. Getting at least one new phone number a day is an absolute must.

I am much older than you. My number of partners is in the several hundreds. I think sex today is a different proposition than when I was in my teens and 20s. I came of age before AIDS and herpes and at the end of the sexual revolution. I say don't try to just have sex to raise your number, you have sex because it's wonderful and it feels good. If you look at sex as a conquest that's going to blow up in your face. Just enjoy sex for it's own sake. You'll be surprised but many women feel the same way. Don't lie or lead women on to get laid, you'll regret that and be labeled a creep or a "player". Don't talk about women you've been with, show self restraint and class. This is the view from my perspective.
