I just let them be retarded.

I could care less about eliminating somebody's preconceived notions about how they think every man in the world conducts themselves. Either they want to spend time with me or they don't.

*Couldn't. Otherwise it doesn't make sense.

Hypergamy. There's nothing you can do to change it. Take advantage.

To be fair, AWALT also makes generalizations about women although that's based on a larger sample of women. Just let the women make their generalizations. If they're right, they're right, and if they're wrong because of sample size or whatever, you're not going to change their minds anyways.

Well... on a sub where AWALT is in every second comment thread I find this question a bit amusing.

In general (ha!), generalizations make thinking and the world easier. A lot of people like it easy.

The fact that you used the word "think" in the title to refer to women complaining betrays an unhealthy respect of female noise on your part.

If their man has a problem it can be addressed, people can expect you can change it with some social skill and effort. By projecting those problems onto 'all men' the problem becomes monumental, impossible to solve and the person bitching doesn't have to fear the obvious retort "Ok, well then, what are you going to do about it?"

Projection is pretty easy to spot when you see someone paint you in some way that seemed to come out of left field. A girl just did this to me recently, saying I was sexually frustrated with no real context. I called her out on it and explained she was projecting, calling me what she was so she could normalize her problems by feeling surrounded with people with the same problem. I got alot of thank yous that night from other people for getting that girl to shut up... I guess I wasn't the first she started on with that shit.

All men hate being generalized.

[–]Transmigratory0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because it helps them sleep at night.

Ironically the Betas don't realise that they're lumping themselves into the generalisations.

Honestly, this is one aspect of them I totally understand, as annoying as it can be. I'm pretty shameless about generalizing women, and happily take the risk of killing a few unicorns in the process, because quite frankly, I've had my fucking heart torn to pieces and I'm not letting one of them try it again.

I would imagine women, having easier access to sex and dating, are more tuned into this feeling.

I'd prefer to have peace with the neighboring tribe, but as long as they're granting asylum to terrorists, they can't be trusted.

Reminds me of my beta days in high school. Girls would always say "guys are the worst" around me. Stupid me would agree with them like a dog trying to please its master. I put MYSELF on a pedestal by lowering every other guys in existence and telling myself I was "different." Still couldn't get a girlfriend though, go figure.
