DailyMail turned the comments off after 17 people basically said "Well duh, gays don't have to deal with women!" This sentiment obviously doesn't fit their misandry-laden narrative, so it must be stifled.

[–]Robdogx9001 23 points24 points25 points 12 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

The best part is that there is no argument that this is wrong.

[–]iRespectFemales 24 points25 points26 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The best part is that that line is already IN THE FUCKING ARTICLE.

[–]LAMFF -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Athletic men being singled out to take sensitivity training is somehow right? Why not women athletes, why not the rest of the student body?

[–]Ferelden -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It is absolutely a satisfactory refutation. When I write scientific papers, I don't make claims that can't be backed up by the data. I may say, I hypothesize this is the reason, but then I lay out a plan for testing that hypothesis. Correlation does not equal causation is enough for my paper to be rejected by peer review in the circumstances you've presented, then it is enough for me to reject your opinion.

I don't know what point I'm arguing, but the conclusion is the same.

Gay men are less stressed because after coming out, everything seems less stressful.

Gay men are less stressed because they have an easier time finding an outlet for their sexual tensions.

Daily mail turned off the comments because they didn't want to appear to be promoting anti-feminism.

Daily mail turned off the comments because they wanted people to focus on their message not on arguing small points of a big picture article.

Gay men are less stressed and daily mail turned off the comments because fuck you.

I have no idea why they turned off the comments. I have no idea why gay men are less stressed then gay men. The great part is neither do you, and blaming women for it isn't a fair conclusion (not that any of my above are fair either).

My point was this whole sub has started to devolve into pointing the finger at women, just like 2x has been doing at "the patriarchy."

[–]kittenmauler9 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I hate when people just mention this without providing any contrary evidence. We all fucking know correlation doesn't equal causation, shut the hell up

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Correlation does not equal causation.

And your evidence for your case......is?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't have a case - I'm asserting the null hypothesis that we don't know what the cause is. Proving that pleasing women is the primary factor in the difference in happiness is certainly not a given, since it has been shown that gay men have differences in brain chemistry from straight men.

Please, The Daily Mail is the British equivalent to Fox News.

Don't legitimise it or assume that it actually reflects the views of our people. It's scare-mongering reactive tabloid trash and anyone with half a brain knows that.

Yes they are.

The unprotected categories are straight, white, Christian, male. You can treat any combination of these categories in a way which any other category would get your burnt at the stake.

Do you deny this?

Look at the difference between how people treat Islam and Christianity.

This pic basically sums it up. And don't think its cuz people don't hate Muslims, its just they are cowards and will only attack people who won't or can't attack back.

What a load of bullshit. This is the kind of drama and nonsense that makes some gays sound as bad as feminists. "Jerry Falwell personally tried to kill me!...sob, sob...."

When you're sent to camp to brainwash you into being not straight, we'll talk about how different things are now.

If this study took place in, say, Tennessee, we'd see different results, I hypothesize. Too bad I didn't stick with Psychology in college...

[–]p3ndulum 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm not really sure what that has to do with being made a scapegoat.

[–]a_newer_hope -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

A sizable amount of political and religious nutjobs still blame queer people for all manner of societal degradation, i.e. scapegoating.

[–]NikolaTeslaMGTOW 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Really?

I thought using the state to force your values on others was a real threat to liberty and freedom. I guess those gays are just looking out for me by trying to destroy all our freedoms and impose their views on us. And I really thought the gaystapo was trying to impose itself on everyone. But the gays are really just our friends and looking out for us so we don't think thoughts we shouldn't think. Or act in ways they find offensive or don't like. All this time I thought the gays use of force was to force me, but they are just looking out for us poor straights who don't know better. I'm glad they could re-educate me and use force and fear to silence my bad words that cannot be said.

/s

[–]a_newer_hope -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can't find an argument in your post. Are you saying there is no political-religious anti-queer collaboration?

No need for sarcasm. Just say what you mean.

[–]NikolaTeslaMGTOW 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

You mean like how men are brainwashed to be submissive obedient feminine husks to be slaves for the state and post wall whores?

Yeah I can't imagine what that must be like. Oh wait. And it is sanctioned by everyone and no one gives a shit about men at all.

Your pain doesn't matter. Your desire doesn't matter. You aren't a person. You are a slave. Don't think, don't speak out, don't try to escape, be a good little tax slave and maybe you will get some pussy once a month or so from an old whore.

[–]a_newer_hope -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

No, I don't mean that, because it's bullshit. The very fact that you can smear that bullshit all over your part of Reddit is proof that no brainwashing is occurring. Actual brainwashing is a systematic and all-encompassing procedure. People disagreeing with your delusions is not brainwashing.

[–]Gstreetshit 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You mean brainwashing, like as in every single thing in pop culture pushing how great it is to be gay? Gay people make up like 2% of the populace, yet almost every single piece of pop culture references it, talks about it, has characters that are gay. It's a constant barrage of cultural Marxism. It's not just the gay agenda, it's many other things as well.

''We are all the same, and we are all special snowflakes'' aka doublethink

[–]a_newer_hope -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

That's not brainwashing. Google's definition: "make (someone) adopt radically different beliefs by using systematic and often forcible pressure."

It's just a trending and prevalent idea. It's not even all-encompassing. It's only extremely recently that hip hop stars have begun discussing acceptance of queer rappers. And you're really simplifying the issue. It's not "how great it is to be gay," but rather, you shouldn't treat someone shitty for being gay. Which is a subset of not treating people shitty because it's the wrong thing to do.

The percentage of queer population in large cities is much higher, which is where most culture is produced. Also, it's an important part of the prevailing discourse at the moment.

[–]Gstreetshit1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Propaganda a better term for you?

[–]a_newer_hope0 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I guess, but the term doesn't really mean that much. It simply means biased or misleading info with an agenda. Which is nearly everything you will ever watch, read, or hear.

[–]Gstreetshit1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I would also say that the constant barrage in media is systemic.

[–]Blood_Vaults 35 points36 points37 points 12 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

It's going to be a very, very interesting time if a large enough amount of men drop out of the rat race.

[–]throwaway4003a 27 points28 points29 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Women will have to work more then, which is what they wanted right?

Women have had "pussy pass" for ages now. It is their turn to work and men to get a "cock pass"

[–]Cryocasm 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Women will have to work more then, which is what they wanted right?

Equal rights means equal work. Damn right they should work.

Women have had "pussy pass" for ages now. It is their turn to work and men to get a "cock pass"

The "pussy pass" has developed into something much larger now, it's legally supported (false rape accusations, deceptive conception of children, etc), and it accepted socially as well by all the plugged in betas which bottom feed and the feminazi women. Just today I overheard two women talking about cheating, and as most of you expect it went like this (keep mind this is roughly translated from German):

A: "I need an affair"

B: "But you have a boyfriend!"

A: "Yeah I guess he's nice and all and goes shopping with me, but I just feel like something's missing" Beta provider spotted

B: "Hmm.."

A: "Besides... you're a woman, I trust you with this because it's experimentation, I'm curious." Some fucking hypergamy here

I stopped listening at that point, but these girls (like 22ish) think that just because they have a vag, they can get away with cheating on a man in a social context (after all, they're experimenting). I just compared it to the redpill's teachings, and while I've got some feels for that beta (I want to show him this so that it doesn't happen to him again), I'm infuriated at the social acceptance nowadays of this hypergamous behavior. The betas would say "such a shame she did that", and any even remotely alpha man would call her a slut, and this would in turn lower his reputation (speaking out against a woman is God's sin remember).

The pussy pass belongs abolished, I'm completely for returning to 1890s laws in terms of voting ability (penis power). Besides, these feminists are so naive that they don't even realize that generating all of these gays and otherwise non-heterosexual males will reduce their ability to be hypergamous in the future. They've shot themselves in the foot (keep in mind I'm not saying being gay is wrong, but it doesn't help female hypergamy, this is a purely objective statement), and I sincerely hope that in the next 25 years we see a Philandry and Pro-Mens movements. These should really be focused on the education system, you need to nip it right where it starts, there should be more male teachers in the younger grades (elementary and middle schools), and they should teach discipline and always show two sides of the same coin (ie when showing the class a feminist news article or something like this).

You could call that controversial, but that's the way it needs to be done, because they always complain. But a woman will never bitch harder than when she becomes powerless, and a strong point about this is child-custody (single mothers statistically produce more betas than ever), false rape, deceptive conception, and the abolition of the wage slave and the abolition of divorce rape. Especially those last two.

[–]Endorsed Contributorburningtimber 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Cryocasm, I mostly agree. Just one thing:

generating all of these gays and otherwise non-heterosexual males will reduce their ability to be hypergamous in the future.

Even if they were future-oriented, they wouldn't care. Normal women want the top men and ignore the bottom 80% or so. They would prefer the bottom 80% became gay.

Extreme feminists are different. They hate the the sexual market place and want to wreck it. They hate feminine women getting attention from top men. I guess they would be happy if 100% of men disappeared or became gay.

[–]Cryocasm 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That sort of was the extreme-scenario I was implying where if they completely had their way we'd all be non-hetero in some form (probably asexual since many men aren't too enthused by homosexuality) and we'd go and donate sperm somewhere and get killed off or similar.

Too bad that any young woman that feminists try to get on their side will get moist down there, and she'll go bang a man.

Dropping out of the rat race means men will stop producing and focus all their energy in competing for resources. It will basically be Russia, nobody wants to be the sucker that does the work somebody else gets rich from. This is how a culture dies. Everybody fighting for scraps.

[–]SgtBrutalisk 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

This reminds me of the Soviet system - "we pretend to work and they pretend to pay us".

[–]Blood_Vaults 25 points26 points27 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I don't see how, unless you're one of those preppers hoarding for a doomsday scenario. The majority of men born are followers, not leaders. The majority of people reading this sub reddit who think they're 'alpha' are infact betas. And there's nothing wrong with that. Society needs a large population of satisfied, honorable betas to keep it running. Betas keep the electricity going. They keep the water hot and running. They worked on farms and made sure you had food to buy at the grocery store. They pick up your garbage. They clean out your septic system. They're plumbers, pilots, bus drivers, mechanics. They're the foot soldier who brave the freezing cold during their watch. A long time ago, if you were a decent and hard working man there's a good chance you could snag a woman that was slim, pleasant, submissive, and most of all loyal. This was his motivation for going to work everyday.

Now, this has been taken away from them because our fiat lords have grown fat and deceived by their greed and have turned the women into sterilized office and college carnival rides with a limited duration of operational usefulness. The betas have no incentive to keep civilization running, they'll withdraw further and further into xbox and porn and government benefits, the remaining working class will be taxed even further. Do you want that?

[–]dreamingawake09 18 points19 points20 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's already happening. More young guys are pursuing careers that interest them more, than pursuing careers that make tons of money. Shit, I'll admit that I'm one of those guys. Originally was going for Pharmacy, grew tired of it all, and went into Sports Administration and Sports Broadcasting. Yeah, I'm not making 6+figures, and I'm living with a roommate to purposely be frugal, but, I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't enjoying life taking this route. Fuck the rat race.

[–]Meterus 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Look at how happy and stable gay men are, now look at how shitty is the situation of lesbians in their full of drama relationships.

Too bad the biased researchers of today will avoid getting any data that goes against their beliefs.

[–]trudatness 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago* (13 children) | Copy Link

Ehh... Gay dudes definitely have their share of weird drama, but at least they don't have to worry about family law issues.

Could you imagine the amount of stress lifted from men if we actually had fair and equitable family law statutes? Holy shit straight dudes would be the happiest motherfuckers on the planet.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Yeah but gay dudes don't typically throw nuclear shit-fits on minor stuff like forgetting to pick up milk on the way home from work.

[–]trudatness 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

LOL are you actually trying to say that gay dudes don't throw nuclear shit fits?

I worked in the restaurant biz for almost 20 years. I've seen some gay dudes freak the fuck out over some of the dumbest shit. They definitely have their own brand of drama. They can be just as catty and passive aggressive as any female.

EDIT: I will say this though. The gay dudes I've known and worked with seemed to have a full grasp of empathy - whereas most women can't conceptualize beyond their own immediate wants and needs.

I agree. Feminine minded men are what you would expect.

No I'm saying they dont throw them on minor stuff.

That said I've never seen an unhappy gay couple. I've seen plenty of unhappy straight couples (it's almost the norm) and plenty of unhappy lesbian couples.

Lets narrow it down, they have no biological need to throw a shit fit over the milk. Its just a matter of frequency and intensity.

Plus it's easier when dealing with other dudes... at least you can logic with dudes.

With women you have to engage in emotional judo and instead of taking the blow in the feels you need to redirect that emotional outburst either back at them or into something more positive.

Yes yes! The gay agenda is working! Come to the dark side. Soon you will all be converted.

Well, if read the article, you would know lesbians were less stressed in the study. Actually, the title is misleading, as the study measured men and women of varying sexualities.

In the study headed by Sonia Lupien, the director of Canada’s Centre for Studies on Human Stress, 46 lesbians, gays and bisexuals as well as 41 heterosexuals were surveyed over the course of 48 hours.

[–]Goupidan 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well show me some data and do the research, your hypothesis is interesting.

[–]redpillgay -5 points-4 points-3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Look at how happy and stable gay men are

I know. Especially in red states where we can't get married, or Arab nations where we can get arrested or killed.

This is all fine and dandy, but their sample size is attrocious. 46 gays, lesbians and bisexuals. That means that they got a handfull of each (13-14) and 41 heterosexuals. I know the narrative supports RP, blah blah, but this sounds to me like junk science that should not have been published without at leas 4-5 times the sample size. Especialy for something as subjecitve as "stressed out" and "anxious". If they did blood tests and measured stress hormone i'd be game, but this doesn't prove anything one way or another.

Also, no mention or controlling for age, race, geographic location. This science article is junk, and the news article about the science article reeks of sensationalizm.

Edit: spelling and 2nd paragraph.

race

The only time a study seems to control for race is if they are trying to find out how racist whites are.

This is all fine and dandy, but their sample size is attrocious. 46 gays, lesbians and bisexuals. That means that they got a handfull of each (13-14) and 41 heterosexuals.

All true, but science has to start somewhere. This will most likely prompt others to do bigger and better studies to prove this wrong or confirm it.

[–]iStillEatSnakes 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Race can play a big role depending on geographic location. Say a white gay dude is gonna be a helluva lot more anxious and nervous livingin the hood then he would be in a quiet suburb. This kind of study is plagued by having too few participants and one persons response (outlier) will unfairly affect the average. In studies, generally, statistical tests are done on datasets that remove outliers so that they don't skew the average, but that is only possible when you have a much larger dataset. Removing the highest and lowest value in this dataset you're effectively wiping out 10-20% of the whole set; rendering the whole thing junk.

Its very probable that nobody (of significance) is going to pick this work up. Any time you cite someone on your own work you are in effect taking on their sucess/faliure. If the paper, 2 years down the line, gets shot to pieces any paper that cited it also goes down in flames. Most scientists will repeat work done by others to confirm the result themseves before using it in their own research. Which brings me to my last point, all research depends on grant money. If the science community ignores paper X then nobody (NIH/NSF/pirvate donors/etc) will fund paper Y that is based on the ground work laid out by paper X.

[–]Gstreetshit 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's not really true. The FBI has statistics on crime broken down by gender and race.

Gay men have a way easier time getting laid. They don't have to worry about pregnancy, and they're also men, so they're horny and want to fuck. The only "brake" they have to deal with is venereal disease, which straight men also have to deal with. So naturally, they are less stressed in aggregate.

[–]redpillgay 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just compare the motives...

GAY:

Man(1): Horny

Man(2): Horny

STRAIGHT:

Man: Horny

Woman: Agenda

[–]hillthekhore 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Gay men have a way easier time getting laid.

Maybe. If you're ok with getting laid by a 40 year old dude with cankles and back hair, yeah. Super easy.

[–]monsieurhire2 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

My sister's friend in college was this little twerp and he had absolutely no trouble at all. The kid would talk about scenarios that sounded like they came right out of a porno movie.

[–]hillthekhore 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Well, fantastic! Some straight dudes also have no trouble at all.

[–]monsieurhire2 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If gay men lower their standards they can still get laid easier than straight men, who actually get shit tested by fat ugly slobs who are constantly being serviced by a stable of desperate men. Just see craigslist for these entitled hags who are 300 lbs and festooned with zits demand 220 lbs of muscle with a 12 inch penis. And I'm sure they get it too.

[–]ibuprofiend 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Even ignoring the fact that they don't have to deal with women, gays are accredited victims, and therefore life is cozy for them. We live in a world where being a minority is a good thing because everyone's trying to be politically correct.

[–]throwaway4003a 13 points14 points15 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Being a minority is fashionable. I can totally see how life would be easier if I were gay, or a woman, or even a tranny.

Anything but a regular white guy.

[–]EgoReady 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

As a young gay male, I can tell you it is as a matter of fact not easy.
Acceptance is still a problem and coming out causes a lot of stress to many of us.

[–]uathroway 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Being gay is fucking awesome, dude. Any "oppression" (lol) we face is easily outweighed by the ability to get laid at any hour of the day with the press of a button. Not to mention not having to put up with women's shit, and being able to say things that nobody else can.

[–]EgoReady 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm afraid I can't get laid any hour of the day! I have a refractory period, too, even though it's only 1 min. But in all seriousness, it isn't always that great.

I must admit I'm glad I don't have to take any women's shit. My female cousins do want me to be their "gay best friend". How do you guys even put up with that shit :P

[–]1Gavlan_Wheel 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Acceptance is still a problem

From whom? Religious fundamentalists whom you will never meet?

causes a lot of stress to many of us.

For you, but little do you know, no one gives a shit. The media acts like coming out is a big deal, but whenever a celebrity (or a worthless basketball/football player) does it, they basically get a fucking parade in their honor for their "bravery". If you suck at a sport, I highly suggest that you come out as gay, even if you aren't. You will be drafted and the team will have a hard time letting you go, since the media will 100% ask "Did it have to do with him being gay??? OMG".

I'm bi and everyone I meet and on the internet just assumes I'm gay because of my voice. Never, ever had a problem and I've never, ever lost a friend or anything because of it. I'm actually friends with a few people on the internet who are very religious and think homosexuality is a sin. I've been friends with both of them for years.

I also know several gay people and the same thing. It's all in your head man.

[–]EgoReady 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

From whom?

Many people are still bigoted ass holes. In high school people are still bullied for it every single day. Some teenagers even get kicked out of their parental home when they come out. We've come a long way but we're not there yet.
Besides, a lot of us can't even marry someone from the same sex. And in a lot of places people can still get fired because of their sexuality. So I think it's still very much a part of our daily lives.

causes a lot of stress

To me, and many, many others like me coming out is still a big deal and a scary thing to do. Besides, even coming to terms with it yourself can be really difficult for some people.

You can never be sure people will accept you. And just because everyone has accepted you for who you are doesn't mean everyone is.

Just because you know a couple of gay people who didn't lose a friend doesn't mean it doesn't happen at all. I have seen many people in several subreddits who have lost many a friend/family member over this. And even then, not losing any friends and complete acceptance are entirely different things.

[–]Gstreetshit -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

a lot of us can't even marry someone from the same sex.

As if the institution of marriage hasn't been destroyed enough

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm bi and everyone I meet and on the internet just assumes I'm gay because of my voice.

Do bi guys receive as much social stigma from Christian/Islamic/orthodox Jewish fundies like the gay crowd ?

I'm unsure of how these social dynamics would work although I've got a bi friend and never really thought of a way to tactfully bring up the subject.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

yeah, but think about it. Being an accredited victim comes with all the burden of sustaining a victim mentality.

[–]uathroway 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Being an actual victim sucks, but being perceived as one is great. The best is being perceived as a victim when you're not one (women, most gays), the worst is not being perceived as a victim when you are one (short straight guys, for example).

[–]redpillgay -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not really dude.

[–]Redpillc0re 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You must have noticed there is no TPR for gay men (there's grindr).

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I support gay marriage, I support the right for gay men to be equally as miserable as straight men, stuck with someone they don't want. I mean seriously if I was a gay man I would happy, I would look around and see all the married straight men living their lives of quiet desperation and think, wow good thing I don't have to deal with that. Overall I wouldn't even get married as a gay man, I mean what's the point? Children? I could just adopt or use surrogates by myself. Especially if I'm the richer gay man I'd be pretty much signing myself to get butt-fucked by the state.(And not in a good way)

[–]Blood_Vaults 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Marriage between two men is more than likely going to be an open marriage.

Marriage between two women, those are the ones that have a crash and burn rate comparable to blue pill provider/post wall slut

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The problem with that line of thought is it assumes that there is as many gay men as there are women in a dating pool. The dating pool among gay men is only about 2-4% as big as the female dating pool. This means that you do not have the luxury of many options.

[–]newguy75 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's because gay guys get laid.

[–]a_newer_hope 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is the explanation from the study, which involved men and women:

The researchers suggested that the lower stress levels in out gays, lesbians and bisexuals could be a result of the therapeutic process that is involved in disclosing one's sexual orientation.

'Our within-group analyses suggest that full disclosure, at least among our Montréal-based sample, is a form of coping strategy that fosters mental health and physiological integrity,' the researchers wrote.

Closeted people - and straight men, for that matter - are less likely to experience an emotional catharsis similar to coming out.

The catharsis, researchers argued, may help progress emotional maturity and lead to greater happiness and self comfort.

How did you read that and think women are to blame?

[–]hillthekhore 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Researchers found lower levels of cortisol and more symptoms of depression among straight men compared to out gay men, and among out gays, lesbians and bisexuals compared to closeted people.

This doesn't make sense. If straight men have less cortisol, that suggests that they're LESS stressed, doesn't it? Cortisol is, essentially, the marker of stress.

[–]Unoriganal -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

men can relate to, and make other men happy be it talking, joking, or hanging out. a man that is dating another man is gonna make that man even more happy because they are more emotionally attached and they are sexually attracted to eachother. a woman can literally never have the same kind of relationship with a man as another man can.
