"Predictability Women prefer men who have a steady job, are dependable, and are emotionally stable.[16] A predictable man may be boring, but a woman feels that she can predict his behavior twenty years into the future. Unpredictable, "flighty" men turn off women.

E.g., if you want to date a certain waitress, eat at her restaurant every day for months, at the same time each day, ask for the same table, and order the same meal (and leave the same big tip)."

I don't agree with this one. If you want to date someone who works in the service industry, the last thing you want is to be seen like just another customer.

Hahahahaha This is horseshit. Women absolutely do not like boring men. They despise it. Whatever you are, for the love of god do not be boring. CH wrote about this. I can dig it up if someone wants it.

Unpredictable, "flighty" men turn off women.

This sounds like the women are considering long term providers. Because that just described an alpha.

The part about 'entertainment skills' is intriguing, i work with a fellow who grew up somewhere in Africa (i think Nigeria but i cant remember). He said to me the other day "back in Africa kids didn't hate each other for no reason like they do here in Canada, if you could sing, dance, draw or play sports you were 'cool' kids here don't care about that stuff cause they have technology and it makes them all hate each other".

This is a great find.

Here's the one for men from that website: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Relationships/How_Men_Select_Women

Talk about houses. Bitches love houses!

This was particularly illuminating:

If money attracted women, Bill Gates would be sexier than the Beatles in 1965. Women are conflicted about money. Women want "alpha" males who show off their money like peacocks show off their tail feathers, e.g., buying a round of drinks in a bar. But women also want "relationship" men who put their paychecks into a mortgage. Show off your money to attract a woman's attention. Then talk about the home you're buying to make her want a relationship. Our hunter-gatherer ancestors owned nothing but what they could carry to the next campsite. Accumulation of wealth wasn't possible. Women's cerebral cortexes have learned to appreciate accumulated wealth, but their brains aren't hardwired for this. In a conflict, women tend to choose their more basic instinct—love—instead of their newer appreciation of wealth.

Money itself is not attractive to women. It's the influence/status that money can buy that gets the old gina a tingling.

There's no shortage of 20-something gold diggers who would be happy to shack up with Bill Gates, even at his age. They will sacrifice their attractive standards in men for the right price. But a 50 year old alpha is going to have difficulty shacking up with 20-somethings. He doesn't have a 50,000 sq ft house and his own private jet. He can't ensure that her potential offspring will have more resources than they will ever need.

Mammals produce glucocorticoid hormones in stressful situations. Too much glucocorticoid causes health problems. In male and female primates, high-status individuals produce minimal glucocorticoid in stressful situations. Low-status individuals produce too much glucocorticoid.[5] Stress—"the fear of fear itself"—physically hurts low-status individuals. Stress doesn't affect the health of high-status individuals.

This part really speaks to the benefits of confidence and outcome independence. For me it gives new meaning to the phrase "cool under pressure."

Money has and always will attract women. No woman over 8/10 is going to live in poverty (or even just getting by) by choice. And I'm not just talking gold diggers. Resources are an indicator of being alpha.

It will always be about looks, money, and status.

Like anything else, some is right, some is wrong.
