Bingo. BINGO. Every single group that claims to be oppressed or pushes for equality actually wants equality of outcome. No one actually wants equality before the law, which is what equality of opportunity is. Everyone wants equality of outcome. They want money, food, and material goods handed to them regardless of the effort they put out.

This really highlights the great difference between this sub and almost any other-we actually believe in equality before the law, while also realizing we get out of things exactly what we put in. We work out because we know we won't get muscles from sitting on our ass (personally, I'm more for working on my cardio right now). The stories that we see in /r/fatlogic or /r/fatpeoplestories do not believe this, they believe, through the miracle of HamsterTM that they do not need to work out to be healthy.

Understanding the difference between equality of outcome (what feminists really want) and equality before the law (true equality) is the first step in actual Men's Rights. The idea of equality before the law is where ideas like "people who make false accusations should serve time" come from. If /r/TheRedPill should have any political stance, it is equality before the law.

Equality of the law is rare. Like the article mentions, a man could be raped by a women but if reported who would believe it? Even if it went into court, look at the Jody Arias case.. The lawyers would try to go and flip everything around "Yeah i dressed up as a little school girl but that doesn't mean i LIKED it or that i CONSENTED to do it".

I do like however that some states, at least, NJ, is making a push to end permanent alimony payments to divorced women because we're realizing that we now live in a world where the women can make just as much as men, if not more and that men are no longer the primary bread winners. 1 small step for man i guess.

One small step for equality before the law, more or less. If NJ actually passes that law, 1: They would need to defend it to the death, potentially against federal intervention. 2: It'll actually force people to get off their butts and find equality of opportunity.

This. Go back hundreds of years the majority of men and women were oppressed, but in different ways, but men would have had it worse. Dying in wars, dying down mines or on ships is much worse than not being allowed to work and being objectified (which is arguably female-privilege) to some degree.

I'd rather have men fighting for my country than women. Now that women can serve combat roles, how many women are flocking to fight in the middle east or serve at a post along the DMZ, or go to Okinawa. Women I don't think have the psychological capability to deal with the chaos of war. They can't even deal with the logical reasoning behind why cheating is wrong.

Yep. I was kinda surprised to see how easily Paula Deen was beaten down by the race issue. I believe here advanced age and southern pedigree did some harm to her pussy pass, but still an interesting turn of events.

It would be interesting to see how the media would handle a young white woman saying the N-word in the same manner as Paula. The fallout may be different.

At the top of the "leftist power structure" would be a black lesbian who is the equivalent of a leftist celebrity. The further you are away from that the worse your status will be among them. The lowest status for them is hetero white male.

I don't think it gets more hated than hetero black males. Obama's color blind race neutral approach doesn't do shit for us, and conservatives aren't helping us either way.

Both the left and right power structures have the majority of black men at the bottom of the totem pole. Which is why I'm not a democrat or a republican. Arguably blacks are worse off with Democratic leadership. At least we were angry when Bush was in office. Statistically were doing worse now but were not as angry, we should be even more angry, but were not.

The welfare state has given black women power over black males a longtime ago. White males are playing catch up.

Edit: TL;DR-The war on black men started and fucked us up long time ago. You whites better make sure you win the war on white men so you don't end up like we did lol.

I agree with you. The states's influence in the black community has ruined it. Feminists might pine for a matriarchy but we already have one in the ghettoes and we know what that produces. That's what most of society will look like if things don't change course.

Being black still lets you play the race card. Leftist thought purports that the greater the victim then the greater the status. Black is still considered victim status white is not. If you were gay it would up your status even more. If you were a woman it would go even further. It's an escalating scale of perceived victimhood with white males being lowest status.

Don't get it twisted though. I'm not saying this victim status actually confers any benefit much beyond sympathy.

The race card is a powerful psychological tool. I think of it as a dog with an extremely scary bark and no bite. One of whites biggest fears in this day in age is being called a racist. Perhaps to whites on the receiving end of the race card it means something.

As someone who purportedly benefits from use of the race card. I hate it because it doesn't effectively help us. More often than not it creates a wider divide in the long run. It can even be a distraction from larger issues. Right now all eyes are on the Trayvon Martin case going on now because he was killed by a white Hispanic. Whereas hundreds of black males are getting murdered in Chicago by other black males each year and many people don't even know or care.

Feminist shaming tactics on the other hand is a vicious dog with the bite to back it up.

But hey, I get to say I'm a victim at least! BLACK POWER!!!

I read her short e-book "The War on Men." It was very short, but it was only 99 cents. It didn't say anything new from a red pill perspective, but it's a great introduction to explain to somebody new, if you were looking for an easy intro guide to give out.

I hate to say it but men have always been 2nd class citizens, even in the days when women were supposedly oppressed.

P.S Before the mods or anyone else gets ahead of themselves, it's not that I believe men are 2nd class citizens, but that they've always been treated as such.

My parents hunted down the school in my city that allowed me the most freedom as to how i learned and what i had to do. I was in a montessori program and i had like 2-3 hours of recess a day...that stuff was awesome. Even with all that recess my class was way ahead of all the other kids my age.

Men have a more kinesthetic and conceptual mind, ex science and mathematics, classes that schools or at least my high school did not require while women as a whole fair better in the arts, all considered necessary to graduate. Men work better by direct participation while women don't usually need a direct explanation, it's taken as face value. This is what I observed throughout my recent tenure in HS. Neither gender is inherently better however being an extrovert is considered an advantage to being a introvert, women clearly excel at this being far more social while men prefer independence more or less, which is considered antisocial or wrong.

The most annoying thing is the sometimes negative stigma that attaches to a student who asks a lot of questions in high school. I went to a high school with very high academic standards but was still infamous among the teachers for asking lots of questions.

It always pissed me off when they would be blatantly annoyed that i dare raise my hand in class. I was just thinking to myself, "why am i even here if i can just get all of these facts from the internet." Luckily in college this somehow gets turned around and teachers decide to gauge how much you care by how many questions you ask...

I find reading and watching Fox News are 2 different things. I've compared a lot of stories written on Fox News to CNN, BBC, and NBC/CBS and they're all pretty much the same. It's only when you listen to the news do you get all that hype BS and misconstrued fact.

The most ridiculous part about all of this, from what I have seen, is that men are like crabs in a bucket. No matter how a male explains the same thing that was in the article, another guy will come along and say it isn't real or true.

The entire male power structure has been usurped by government and exerts pressure on individual men who are powerless to fight against them. How can some men fight against the desire to combat this practice? I am at a loss.
