There’s something wrong with my approach. I keep getting the “ I have a boyfriend” how do I keep going from there? Too many girls have told me that line.

Yesterday I saw this girl who works at publix. I had on a suit because I was coming from church and had to pick some stuff up. I got what I needed put them in the car and went back in. She was in the money transfer department so I waited in a line till eventually my turn was up. I told her “ Hi Sabrina, I dont have anything I need you to do for me. (She cut me off and stated the different stuff I could do and I said no) I wanted to tell you that I think you are beautiful and I wanted to get to know you” (Obviously im not gonna converse with 4 other people behind me so I was going to ask for her number but she said “Oh no I got a boyfriend” I said “Alright, see you later” and that was it.

Edit Maybe I cared too much about the people behind me in the line. I wanted to just ask her and leave because there was people waiting. Should I have acted as if no one was there and just carry a conversation?
