I find this one tough, I have a good paying job and I don’t mind paying because a lot of the girls I have banged in the past year are broke college girls.

To each their own, seems where I live that men tend to pay. I’m not looking to date these girls, just bang. So by me paying it makes it a little more smooth sailing I find.

Prior to the date, you set the table.

"I'll cover the first round because you're kinda cute but you cover the last round. Two if you are boring."

Then I smile.

If she gives me actual pushback then I know I'm wasting my time and I'll flake day of. Repeat till I get bored or she realizes that she's not getting a free meal.

If she's interested, she'll agree and spend the date trying to qualify herself.

If I get a half ass shit test, I use the following :

I'm a feminist and believe that you are a strong independent woman.

If I pay right now I'll have to get another job to pay for all my dates.

Alright, just for that you're treating me out to <insert expensive restaurant >. *Keep escalating till you are sitting with Jay Z and Beyoncé.

If you fuck up and don't set that expectation then before your bill, excuse yourself and hit up the bartender, or waitress and tell them you're splitting the meal.

If your waitress fucks up and brings you the bill you have two options :

Pay it. You fucked it up and it's time to pay for it. Hate this option.
Double down. Look at your date and expect her to pay. Act like she's your sugar momma. Tell her that the next venue is on you.

I like #2 since if she has low interest then you get a free meal. If she has medium interest then you either forced her out (sure) or committed her to another date. Bonus if you change venue as high frame + venue change + idgaf + alcohol leads to higher f close.

Yeah normally you would know how to split the checks because you know the person. Restaurants are not really my favorite first date. But i've done it before and sometimes I just tell the waitress to split the checks like you said, endure the awkward few seconds, and know she's either cool with it or not and either way is fine (spoiler: they are always cool with it)

I always pay. It automatically puts you in the masculine frame (If you're doing it right).

A better approach is to pay for the first date activity (meal, 1st round of drinks) and have her pay for the next (dessert, 2nd round of drinks).

It's best to pay (rather than be cheap and split the check) overall as it provides a sense of security, increasing the chances of getting intimate.
