It doesn't work both ways OP because women are the gatekeepers to sex whilst men are the gatekeepers to commitment.

If a man says "I wanna fuck a 12 year old girl" it is assumed he will not let her exercise her role as gatekeeper of sex, and just take it from her. So he is seen as creepy, a rapist, a pedo and blah blah.

Antithetically if a woman says "I wanna fuck a 12 year old boy" she is giving him permission to have sex with her as sexual gatekeeper, and thus it is viewed that "he is a lucky lad" and "a real stud" because women who should be out of his league by merit of being more sexually mature/developed/in demand would be willing to let him go balls deep inside of them.

Yes I know it's fucked up. Not saying it's right or condoning it or anything, but letting you know what the general psychology behind this double standard is.

Remember this - it is Twitter, the social asshole of the internet. How many girls do you date that tweet their every thought incessantly? Hopefully for your sake, the answer is zero.

People who tweet spontanous thoughts like this are so starved for attention that really - who cares what they think?

Of course this is a double standard and you are correct about that, but - I would not use Twitter as a social gauge. It is a waste of time. Don't let the dregs of society get you angry.

Do you really think that it's a bad thing there is a double standard? We teach children from a young age to embrace their sexualities, and with men it's their ability to attract quality women.

I've said many times to a young man, "Damn you are going to slay all the women tonight. Looking good man MAN!" First off, he's not a man, he's a boy, and second off, he's not going to slay any women because his balls havent even dropped. Though, that's just how you reinforce good behaviors of being a young man looking good. The same way you reinforce hardwork or good behavior.

Wow, just wow. Even as a woman I cannot understand these comments. At first I thought it was the guy with the girl, and thought well yeah he's attractive. But then I looked up the name and it's the little guy! He's cute, but like kid cute. Like my little brothers (same age). The kind you want to ruffle their hair and then challenge them to tag or something. I can't see him anyway as a sexual being. Gosh, my brothers are the same age and are in 6th grade! They like pokemon and minecraft. They are just now noticing girls but are too shy to do anything but awkwardly dance at the school dance lol. I imagine many kids this age are the same. this is not about our rules people, this is what nature does. she doesn't care about our made up shit, doesn't give a fuck if we have babies and a hard life during it, she ONLY cares about survival of the species, this is THE most important thing. NOTHING else matters except we survive. morals, decency, rules, laws? all ours, in our head. bend yourselves in knots all you want, nature doesn't give a fuck, she knows you intimately, better than you can ever know yourself. look at all the other animals on the planet, e.g. mammals - we're all wired the same, 2 leg, arms, a head, 2 eyes, ears, nose, brain, etc. do they have fucked up rules? no. do they get bent in knots about a male in their species banging another male? no one even notices. do they get on with it, life, and are they still here? yes. that's your great big fucking 150 ft tall sign in bright neon showing you what's important - and it's NOTHING to do with the bullshit we create in our minds and spend years fighting over.

our age limits are arbitrary, they make no sense. most people here are feigning horror but I doubt they mean it. yes you need limits, hard and fast ones? how do you lay those down? who comes up with them? what's the right age? I don't know. one size doesn't fit all. I know if I was a 16 yr old boy and a hot female teacher of 22 hit on me I'd be all about it. is it wrong legally, yes. is it wrong ... who's the right to judge in this case? why? what gives you the right???? biologically the body is ready to roll from about the age of 14, that's when things go crazy in your head.
