What are teenage boys supposed to do in a perfect world?

This is the age-old pattern. Teenage boys want sex (and so do teenage girls) but they can't always have it. Many teenage girls resist having sex, for good reasons - sex is much, much riskier for women than for men, on a physical and, generally, emotional level. Yes, it's hard to do, and yes, they will be sad and complain and be pushy. That's just how it is though. It's good that you have decided to wait until you're older.

However, in a world where all girls wait till marriage or after teen years, what are the boys supposed to do?

Historically, the boys either didn't have sex, or had sex with the girls who didn't wait. Those girls often didn't have great lives, but some of them were happy enough. But no one died from lack of sex.

Do what you feel is right.... men will be ok. They don't NEED unfulfilling sex. If they think they do, they probably really need something else. Men see the world from the viewpoint of always having to prove their worth. It's impressed upon them their whole lives that they have to earn their value and they have none by default. This is also why a woman's RMV lowers with a higher N count while a male's does not. He's perceived as the competitor needing to prove his worth. She's the judge deciding his worth. (not saying I think this is right.) A competitor that doesn't achieve a lot worries about his value. A judge that's judged a lot of competitors scares away ones looking for a strong, judgement-free, supportive partnership. Promiscuity really doesn't have much to do with it.... it's just the first thing an upset emotional person mentions when they want to hurt someone else. Women don't have much of a problem with a high N count.... they have a problem with an N count that's MUCH higher than their mate. (Example: when a college party girl finally decides to settle down with a beta provider that was zoned out of the party scene.)

Make him feel valued. Raise his self-worth. Men have (at least they had in my day) wiring in them that makes them happy when they make women happy. Contrary to popular belief, most men aren't just ok with having sex with anyone. They're not born insensitive hunters. He wants you. Tell him you appreciate that. Do what you think is right and be true to yourself.... and then let him be true to himself whatever he decides to do. Just don't lead him on and then give yourself to another guy while he's still working to make you happy... that's probably the most damaging thing you can do to a guy.

I dont think so. Could you imagine to marry a man with a high n-count? I wouldnt think he has much self-respect. In my experience, men with really high n-counts (beyond 10-20) have no fathers and very abusive mothers.

The ideal thing for young men and boys to do? Long walks in nature, much physical work, much reading, self-defence, learn how to be a homesteader, engage socially, intellectually in the community. You cannot respect your community, when you use the women for spinning plates.

I admire your values. I think it's great that you're waiting for later, and if you decide to wait for marriage I think that's a really amazing thing too. If he's sad, it seems like there's misunderstanding. It's not him, it's that you want to wait. Or maybe he's just sad he's not getting sex, which doesn't seem good.

It really doesn't matter if a man's n count is psychologically as damaging as women's. It's a moral question. Imagine being a girl who waited but your husband didn't do the same. That would be devastating. He needs to wait too. In a perfect world every guy would want to give himself to his wife. And in this world, creating differences between the genders is contradictory. Unless a promiscuous guy is gay, he's having sex with women. That means guys can't be promiscuous either if women can't. Nobody should.

Serious question: why do you have a BF when you aren't yet ready for an intimate relationship?

If you were ready for a relationship and you're waiting to reach a specific time (such as 3 months) or stage (such as engagement or marriage), that would be one thing and even then, the longer you wait, the more unrealistic it becomes.

But you're planning to hold out for an unspecified amount of time with unspecified goals for unspecified reasons that may or may not become clear at some point in the future. Therefore, he will rightfully assume you just aren't that into him and that makes him sad. He thinks he has a connection with you but when he tries to connect intimately, you stop him.

What type of school? Elementary? Middle? High? University? And what does school have to do with sex?

Why not? (I'm not saying you should have sex as a teen, I'm asking you to explain why you won't have sex as a teen).

Of course he does!

They choose to either wait or they decide to move on. Again, you want him to wait because what reason?

And whatever your reason for waiting, if you aren't realistic, it'll cause problems for you, for him or for both of you.
