I am one of those "looks good on paper, BUT..." guys who SHOULD be really attractive, yet aren't because their inner game is shit. I lift regularly and am in good shape, particularly for my age: 5'11" / 185 / 15% body fat at 41. Am notably successful at my profession, which is a famously difficult one. Still have all my hair and it hasn't gone gray. Have little "baggage": one previous marriage w/no kids, and no financial problems. Found TRP 18 months ago; the sidebar material helped in many ways. And yet, here I sit feeling miserably lonely and borderline suicidal. My confidence and self-esteem are utterly shot, and it REALLY shows. Even though I know on an intellectual level that there are many reasons for women to find me attractive and that many DO find me attractive when they first see me, somehow that doesn't translate into gut-instinct. Somehow I never quite believe that I'm the prize, and thus I always end up acting like a low-value man (even though there's no objective reason for me to do so), with predictable results. Anyway, I've concluded I need help digging myself out of this hole. Given that my problems are mostly in my head, I suspect the right kind of therapy could help, and am wondering what's worked for others in my current position. So, what's worked for you?

And just to head off the standard TRP response: The "don't make women your mission" advice that helps so many others doesn't help me much, because I've already achieved most of my goals -- very difficult ones! -- and the ones I haven't achieved yet are family-related (i.e. have one) and therefore require at least one woman lol.
