Here are a collection of mindsets and rules I have developed for myself. Still trying to completely overcome shyness and become the carefree extrovert that I should be (I am a shy extrovert)

• Speak with a dominant/breaking rapport tonality (no beta high-pitched rapport seeking tonality)

• Always be self-amused

• Speak with conviction (be confident in and believe in everything you say)

• Assume familiarity (assume you already know the other person which makes it easier to talk to them and be yourself)

• What I say is valuable because it comes from me

• It’s not what you say, it’s the energy behind it

• Paradoxically, the less you try to please other people, the more people like you

• I will eventually die one day and nothing will matter anymore

• My perception of myself is more than important than others’ perceptions of me
