What is your Mission?

Was planning to go pro in the NFL as a young kid, worked my ass off in football practice from middle school all the way until junior year of high school. Ended up on varsity as a starting TE as a sophomore played all the way up until junior year when I was medically unable to play football anymore.

One day in practice I'm doing some full contact drills with the 2nd string QB, and some of the defense. I go out for a pass and I'm tackled by the ankles by two of the defense players. The looks on their faces were pure horror as they run to the coaches screaming as I'm just laying on the ground. I try and stand up and I feel my foot wobble strangely. I look down and my ankle has snapped. My fibula is slightly sticking out of the skin. I black out from adrenaline overdose. I come to in the ambulance being rushed to the hospital. Screaming my lungs out in pain.

To make a long story short I had to have two surgeries, one to fuse my fibula back together and the other to attach screws and plates to keep it sturdy. I was told by my doctors I wasn't allowed to play sports anymore after that. I was thrown into a deep depression and I dropped out of school.

I spent the majority of 18-22 playing World of Warcraft, copious amounts of marijuana ingestion, and chain smoking cigarettes. I was 190 lbs and lean, kind of a chad-lite in high school and I ended up ballooning up to almost 400 lbs from depression.

I'm soon to be 29 now, I'm a classically trained chef/kitchen manager of a retirement facility and I co-own a pizza restaurant/bar. Have been hitting the gym constantly for the past 6 years. I'm down to 240 lbs now. Slow progress I know compared to being almost 400 pounds. But, after I learned about TRP 3 years ago the progress has increased exponentially. I'm no longer consuming video games, I'm no longer smoking, I'm no longer looking back on high school and thinking how things could have been different, I actually talk to people more now than I ever did before.

My mission? To be better than I was yesterday, 10 years ago, and to never slink back into the waste of space I was during my depression.

Currently lost in life without a mission

When I graduated high school I moved to the mountains in an attempt to become a professional snowboarder (stupid fucking idea I know). I broke my shoulder after a month living there.

I ended up moving back home where I met this girl. We dated for a year and a half while I worked in the trades. My life was very simple yet very happy. I thought I was just gonna marry her and work as a plumber till I died. I was honestly perfectly contempt with that idea.

She broke up with me a few months ago and I haven’t been the same since. Call me a simp, but I have been having a really fucking hard time getting over her. I’ve gone out and had sex with other women, started working out, changed my diet, took medication, etc. Nothing made me feel better.

Happiness is an emotion I no longer feel. I admit that I’m on some beta shit right now. But I have made a lot of improvements. I got enrolled in community college, I’m going to start learning how to code, I’ve learned how to speak Spanish, I’ve lost 20 pounds. I’m just gonna spend the next year of my life trying to become more alpha. And if it doesn’t work out and I’m still not satisfied or things get worse, then I’ve taken solace in the fact that the cowards way out is still an option. So I guess for now my mission is to feel better than I do now.

Right now it’s to pass all four sections of the CPA exam and cut down to the leanest I’ve ever been. I started lifting semi-seriously about 4 years ago but started taking it seriously about 1.5 years ago. I had a good amount amount of muscle but was still sitting around 20% body fat. I recently reconnected with a guy I went to high school with who competes in bodybuilding shows and is looking to get into coaching as a side gig who offered to coach me for free. It’s been a great help and so far I’m about 4 weeks into my cut and down about 8lbs. Looking to cut about 18lbs total so I’ll probably be going for another 6 weeks.

Right now.. It is being better than yesterday and become financially free by the time I am 30. I'm currently 19, but with how my side business is performing and the clients that I am getting, I should attain my goal a lot sooner. Money has been an obsession for me and just hustling every fucking day is what makes me happy. The thing is that it isn't the money itself that makes me happy, but the making of it. Failing and failing again and again till I find a solution is amazing to my client problems and marketing the shit out of my website is a blessing. I love working. Being fearless is fucking amazing.

My purpose is to be a successful entrepreneur with the option of being location independent. I will become the best I can become with my talents(business minded, sharp, excellent at networking and impressing wealthy people) and opportunities given. I am not relying on entrepreneurship to start with. My plan is to get into finance or real estate(already practiced in a luxury setting for a year before going back to college) and pursue entrepreneurial ventures along the way when I see value I can add to a certain industry or niche.
