...The reason why men feel the need to brag about their "notch counts" is pretty simple. See, I can see some of you responding to brags with remarks like "/r/ihavesex", or "Nice humble brag". Women have to see it from the men's angle though.

Men can go months without sex. They call it "getting lucky" for a reason. For men to have sex with quality women, you have to be pretty on point. You have to look good, have strong game, and know how to decode womeneze. See, women say things but mean totally different things. For example, when she brings up sex FIRST, but says, "We aren't having sex", that means she's thinking about having sex with you, especially if she is on the way to your bedroom already, about to "Netflix and Chill". Men who can't decode the language fail, men who can decipher it like some sort of alien language get it.

Women here need to understand that it's harder for a male to have REGULAR sex than for women. So when women, and feminists wonder why men like to count notches, well, that notch may not mean diddly squat to YOU, but for him, it means he was able to achieve something many men can't.
