I was able to pull it off several times up to the age of 30 (then i ended up in a relationship). Course i lifted weights for over a decade and everyone thought i looked young.

But the older i get the less i hangout with that age group. Could i still do it? Idk honestly, I'm not gonna spend my days off hanging out with young people because I'm grumpy and they annoy me.

My biggest question to those mid 30s+ guys who do is why? Why are you okay with being a dad/adult figure and not a relative equal to them?

Doesn't it hurt your feelings and self confidence to get lumped in with the older generations, or at the very least feel awkward AF to have this huge disconnect in what you liked in childhood or just shared experience?

I'm lucky I'm not into early 20s women, even if I was I'd learn to live without it.

Id say more realistic is 24 - 27.

18 - 22 there is going to be a huge disconnect in terms of views on life. Not saying its impossible though.

This depends primarily on how active you are in youth culture and how well you understand it. Are you involved and respected in music/art/gym culture where young people are? Are you outgoing and fun? How much have you aged?

if you have your shit together, stay fit, take care of your skin, you're still fun and socially outgoing, and you live in the right area, then yes it's definitely possible.

if you bump the age range up to girls just out of college, like 22-26, they're still young and hot and fun, but it's exponentially easier to work out the logistics. they have jobs and apartments and off-campus social circles and can legally drink. they're basically a younger, hotter, more optimistic and excited version of the women your age.

with late 20s thru 30s girls, it can actually be harder because they hear their biological clock ticking and want to meet their forever guy and get married and have kids ASAP. they start looking for guys who are serious relationship material, which may or may not describe you depending on what type of older guy you are.

My most recent hookup was 19. I’m 32. Can’t honestly say it was that weird or unrealistic. We’re at two extreme ends of a loose social group in our city (friends of friends of friends, small city) that spans late teens to early 30s.
