How often do you get turned down? Why do you think that is, and are such failures consistent with RP theory?

Another poster touched on this but I'll give my two cents.

The approach to 'approaching' is very different, even from my basic PUA days. Old way: strike up a conversation with the goal to somehow turn this into a pickup.

New way: look for ways to bring people into conversation or activity. Look for IOI's. Though it doesn't always mean searching for a list, usually you get a feel for someone who is buying what you're selling.

Of that small group, use ideas from Game discussions to make intentions clear. Hope for the best at that point.

No idea on the statistics. In a real way, it changes your attitude from gaming women to gaming everyone. I don't mean this in a spiteful way either. More like, it helps to to on 'fun mode' to everyone around. And I'm not likely to be saddened if a 'prospect' walks away.

it varies from one man to the next.

for the very small number of guys who successfully transform themselves from a fat, cheeto-stained neckbeard weirdo into a sexy charismatic Chad, then yes they will be more successful.

but for guys who are starting out as AFCs, RP isn't really going to have a huge effect on their conversion rate. but what it will do (ideally) is give them the confidence to go out and hit on more women more often and to ramp things up more quickly instead of waiting for a obvious IOIs or a girl who seems like a sure thing. it also encourages dudes to pursue more efficient strategies instead of the common BP strategies that tend to lead to guys pursuing one particular girl for an extended period before making a move. BP guys may spend weeks/months/years chasing one particular girl, trying to win her over, eventually getting friendzoned or rejected. RP guys will go in hard and fast, showing their sexual intent from the start, being polarizing and escalating fast. and they may still get rejected, but it's no big deal because they only wasted a few minutes on that chick and they're able to hit on multiple chicks in one night so there's a good chance they'll be successful

Conpletely whack question; the way I approach a conversation with a girl, the frame of mind I have going into an approach and my perspective in what even is a "failure" in such a situation is vastly different post-RP.

Pre-RP me was basically a different person in regards to thinking about, giving a fuck about, and executing approaches.

This Q seems pretty much pointed at the PUA aspects of RP which I'd consider like 10-15% of the whole schtick.

The biggest statistical edge that you get from devising some kind of strategy is not from being able to pick up single women but that you can multipy your options. If youre doing it right you will get rejected much more than you did before, but still wind up with way more opportunities.
