I guess I’m in this category since I’m 33 and engaged.

I was never out to “secure” marriage, it was never a priority for me or a countdown or anything like that. I remember in my early 20s when I’d been with the same guy for over two years, people in my life started to ask when we were getting married. I didn’t want to marry him, I didn’t want to marry anyone at that point in my life, and I eventually broke up with the guy since I didn’t see that kind of future with him. We’re still friends, it was probably my most amicable break up.

I’ve been with my fiancé for 8 years. We’re very happy, we started a business together recently, but for a few years he had some very serious medical problems that put everything on pause. He couldn’t work, I got a second job, and after his medical woes finally concluded his mother got really sick and again, everything just sort of paused. At any point during all this I would have been fine with a short, no-frills courthouse wedding just to seal the deal, but he’s an old school romantic and wants to have a nice ceremony and bountiful reception. He’s a musician with lottttssss of friends and I know he’s got this big awesome party in mind and I want him to have it. So we’re saving money right now as well as waiting to see what happens with his mother, hoping something awful doesn’t happen but keeping a realistic eye out. We’re very committed to each other so it’s not like there’s a fear one of us will bail. There’s been no settling involved, this is just how the timeline has worked out.

i didnt marry AT 32 but i married a man i MET at 32, exactly one year after i broke up with my ex fiance of 8 years basically on the eve of marriage, we had rings and the license. never had any problems meeting men i was attracted to who liked me back and the longest i was ever single in my entire "Dating life" spanning from 14-48 has been one kinda 2 year stretch in which i had a couple short term datings that didnt pan out between real LTR 2 (1 year) and real LTR 3 (8 yrs, engaged)

i LTR exclusively for attraction, not "husband material" or bux, so my LTRs and my H are not impressive to anyone but me and ive never cared

The wall is real but men in love don’t see it or don’t care. They just love you. I met my husband at 36. He could have married a 25 year old. He is very attractive, successful, kind and masculine. I was married for 13 years to another man who ‘took my best years’ in terms of looks. It didn’t work out and I thought I’d never find a good man I was also attracted to. I was wrong.
