In the past, all of us have encountered LVM, and some of us have been unlucky enough to be blinded by a LVM while others have been unwilling to see anything wrong with their LVM until finding themselves here.

And, on that note, I’m sure I’m not the only one of us who has had a LVM come crawling back with a self-proclaimed willingness and ability to change, to grow with you.

Here are some reminders that are mostly affirmations for myself, but some that I thought y’all would appreciate, identify with, and maybe benefit from:

  • HVM have always been HVM because they have an inherent ability both to be introspective and also to self-actualize the personal growth they need to accomplish based on their introspection.

  • If, implausibly, a LVM did serendipitously find themselves — as if dropped right out of the sky, propelled by some as of yet undiscovered force of the universe, to partake in an unscheduled excursion of truly Darwinian proportions — on a path to becoming a HVM, you would witness it like any other person in the LVM’s life or a fly on the wall. If you have to request it, encourage it, or, heaven forbid, beg for it, they are a LVM through and through.

  • LVM will always be LVM because LVM have no desire to change or to grow as a person. Why would they ever change for you, or grow with you? They don’t do it for themselves, and they certainly won’t do it for you, either.

BOTTOM LINE: LVM will always be LVM.
