Case in point.

I am of the opinion that the more extreme members of the TBP sub have gone so far off into left field with their views that they will find their opinions off putting to the very people they claim to have common cause with - moderate, well adjusted liberal individuals.

I find the distinction between these extreme bloopers and the more edgy TRPers to be that those on the red pill camp are at least aware that they are outliers. It's baffling to me how so many of the more outlandish BPers consider their views to be moderate and acceptable by society at large. The "dude" in the above screen cap is extolling the virtues of MILFS among porn addicts (let's see how that point of view would be recieved in a casual social setting) while simultaneously ridiculing couples with an alternative lifestyle.

I am curious: why do so many BPers seem to lack any self awareness or perspective?
