I think you need a baseline of physical attractiveness but then after that threshold has been met personality becomes a lot more important. So no girls aren't going to be swooning over burn victims anytime soon, but an average looking guy that is witty and charming I bet would have an advantage over a better looking guy that was dull.

First of all TRP doesn't deny or downplay the importance of looks at all, if anything TRP highlights the importance of looks as clear as day, it's why they tell guys to lift and get in shape. Secondly, looks are important but they're not the final nail the coffin that determines everything, TRP has recorded instances where a guy can have good looks going for him but he behaves like an awkward oaf which negates his good looks.

You can have good looks going for you but if your game is shit and your personality is odd..I doubt you'd get very far at maintaining women's initial attraction towards you.

See the thing is that there is a huge problem with overweight/obese people in first world society. You can be an average looking guy currently but a good diet and exercise can skyrocket you into the top 20%.

Then you have to think about what sets you apart from a guy who is equally good looking as you. This is where game/charm takes over, there is absolutely no reason to ignore this.

Go over to progesspics, lossit etc and see how both men and women can drastically improve their looks.

Yes when you have looks it's easier now I've never been ugly but my guess is those things you mentioned are psychological advantages for unattractive males to create tingles in women even though they ain't facial attractive.

Yes you can get hookups with looks alone. But you can also do it with charisma.

Yes you can get relationships with looks alone. But if aesthetics is the foundation of your relationship, it will fail.

Looks matter. But people date out of their league pretty regularly. I am not that great looking. I am dating an attractive girl. I have dated attractive girls. You just have to be persistent. Maybe dress better and work out. Be more social. Don't be so negative. People are easy to get along with if you just give them a chance.

Looks =/= Genetics

Style, exercise and grooming habits contribute to looks.

Natural good looks give one an advantage but so do other factors including intelligence and personality, not to mention talent. And don't even get started about money.

TRPers get it. "Be attractive; don't be unattractive." Make the most of your looks but then develop other skills to enhance yourself.

Given two equally attractive guys, the one with better "frame" and such will do better. What is so delusional about that?

Hell, you get BP women arguing in other threads here that their (mysterious) "friends" like fat guys, skinny guys, etc etc. It takes a TRPer to point out that they may like the guys' personalities but they would prefer a better looking, more muscular guy and it is the woman's own looks that limit how good looking their boyfriend is.

TRP does advocate for stuff like getting in better shape to improve ones appearance. No one is claiming women don't care about looks, but there's also other things to focus on to help get girls.

Yes there is what some would call "conventionally attractive" but that doesn't mean women dont have preferences as much as men do.

If a girl whos a 5 doesnt think your attractive, that doesnt mean you will never be able to pull a 9. It just means that that 5 doesnt think you are attractive.
