Read our sidebar. We agree with Descriptive RP and we recognize that the prescriptive (plate spinning, whatever) aspects are what are best to serve the male imperative as much as possible.

As generalizations, I do think most RP theories have some degree of truth to them. Hypergamy, branch swinging, the idea of frame... These are all tendencies I can see in myself and the world around me. However where I think TRP goes wrong is where they turn these generalizations into laws as well as over applying them and selectively applying them to women. The most blatant example is "hamstering," which I have REPEATEDLY seen referred to as only occurring in women (although some posts do mention "male hamstering" in terms of betas as well). This is hilarious to me because rationalization is such a ubiquitous psychological phenomenon, to suggest that men don't rationalize at all or even rationalize to any degree less than women do is simply ludicrous. Pretty much everything everyone done is due to their base instincts and emotions. The stories we tell ourselves as to why we behave the way we do are just rationalizations that come later. Literally everyone does this all the time.

Another issue I have with red pillers is their hypocrisy with respect to moralizing. All feminine traits and behaviors are framed as negative/problematic yet when a man does the same thing it is either positive or else somehow amoral. One example is hypergamy: when women want the best possible partner for themselves it is bad for society (what??) yet TRP is literally a guide for men to try to get the highest value partner(s) they can. Another great example is beta orbiters vs. plate spinning. A woman with one or more beta orbiters is taking advantage but plate spinning is the ideal state for a red pill man. They are TOTALLY analogous situations!!! Orbiters are mistakenly giving emotional validation and commitment in an attempt to get sex; plates are mistakenly giving sex in an attempt to get commitment. Most orbiters/plates give up and move on when they eventually realize their efforts are futile. The men/women at the center of this are simply maximizing their respective sexual strategies yet the vitriol towards women with orbiters compared to the idolization of master plate spinners makes my head spin.

In general I think most of the men that find their way to TRP are guys who don't really "get it." You see them constantly here on PPD demanding alternative strategies of getting women to TRP if it is supposedly so bad. Why can't I find it laid out for me, step by step? The thing is..... Social (and sexual) skills should be learned through observation and trial-and-error. Most people don't need a comprehensive guide on how to be attractive to the opposite sex because it is literally programmed into our brains to learn how to navigate complex social organizations and interactions. It's sort of like language - babies aren't born knowing how to talk but they ARE born with an inherent propensity for grammatical rules and the ability to learn languages simply by observing the world around them. By and large social skills function the exact same way. So the very fact that so many men come in here demanding to be taught is a huge indication that something has gone wrong in their development. No offense ;)

I disagree with the Alpha = good, beta = bad ridiculousness. The pillars of the community, patriarchal, Men who are respected by other men are high betas. The criminals, wifebeaters, sports stars and rock stars are alpha.

Single mom = woman who bore children out of wedlock, divorce and widow are different words for different things.

The moralizing on TRP is pretty gross and cringey.

TRP is very prole low class in it's ideology. Which is ok, they're prole guys. But they have a gaping blind spot about the functionings of the upper castes.

There are other areas but that's what I come up with right off the bat.

I agree with the basic RP tenets in the wider manosphere, but most of the TRP sub users take everything to an extreme with a very inflexible view of men and women.

We recognize that men and women have different goals, and that TRP goals for the most part don't align with RPW goals unless they are relationship oriented.

Practically speaking, I agree with pretty much all of it. I think the only thing I might think differently about is alpha. I've come to understand alpha more as Vox Day describes it and less like Heartiste describes it. I can't put links up now but by this definition there are far fewer alphas in the world and they are, for the most part, not "good men".

Otherwise, I'm good with all of it.

Disagree with the Alpha = Better, Beta = Bad drivel that TRP has. And laugh at the self-proclaimed 20 year old Alpha nerds of the sub. But mostly it's discrepancies with the sub and not RP theory itself.

Honestly? I agree with mostly everything. Not everything every user says (because who has the time to even know that), but I agree with all the core principles.

I agree with pretty much everything TRP says. (I'm purple instead of RPW because even though I agree with most of the things TRP says about women I'm a self-hating negative nellie about it and RPW don't need my negativity)

I disagree with the "you must be an asshole to be an attractive man" thing and, like a lot of other women have said here, don't think alpha = good and beta = bad. High beta is ideal for LTRs, not Total Asshole Alpha. I also think a lot of what is described as beta is actually omega although it's usually people new to TRP that make that mistake.

Red piller men...In general they arent in love, they aren't getting laid, they feel rejected, and are trying to vent. Because it's way easier to blame us women than to take a good hard look at themselves and evaluate strengths and GOD FORBID, weaknesses they may have as human beings. Women should do the same.

Generally they are correct that women prefer confidence, good looks, intelligence. Who the hell wouldnt? But some of these jaded, rejected, embittered souls feel like there is some imaginary lumberjack stealing all the women. And instead of realizing that's absurd and admitting they have zero confidence, they just hate on women, and wish they were the Al Pacino circa 1975 that they will never be, since theyre too busy bitching on the internet to go out, meet someone new and stop whining about how they think women have it easier in life. It's amazingly entertaining.
