If someone holds a gun to a woman's head or something then fine, don't fight back. But if this is your friend who doesn't realize you're not into it, or you're just hammered as fuck, or something, then for god's sake fight back. The VAST majority of rapes you hear about these days could be prevented by good communication. Fighting back is great communication.

Your view neglects a couple key points.

Fighting back is necessary if you wish to take legal action. It creates more evidence for the courts (It sucks but it's a necessary evil). This is facilitated in two ways. Firstly, it shows a clear lack of consent in case he tries to argue it was consensual. Second, evidence of a struggle will enable you to identify him (skin cells under the fingernails are a common way to prove the suspect was indeed your assailant/rapist/attacker/murderer). As rape is already hard to prosecute due to the nature of the offense fighting back will help female victims make sure their rapists are put behind bars so as to not harm others.

Your view also does not address the fact that not all fights are won with brute force. It is absolutely true that it is a disadvantage, but in a scenario like that a woman can use anything near by to defend herself. Also, not all men are stronger than all women. Giving up and not finding out for sure if you can actually fend them off does not seem to be helpful at all.

Weapons are not ineffective. I've seen pepper spray make huge guys drop real quick. Tasers are even more effective

Your first point is objectively true (your inane "TRP says to make fun of women!!" comment notwithstanding). Women are naturally weaker than men.
Your second point is valid from a number of perspectives. In a case where you're having trouble communicating that you don't consent, violence communicates that pretty clearly; it later more firmly establishes lack of consent; etc.
Your third point is also valid. A nutshot or eye gouge will disable a rapist, if only temporarily (and really, anything short of lethal force is "only temporarily"). Obviously having even a bit more time to escape/call for help can make a huge difference.
Your fourth point brings up another good point. Self-defense classes can give you a false sense of security, and people should be wary of that and potentially carry a weapon if they're concerned for their safety.

Sounds like a litany of reasonable points, most of which don't even challenge each other. Thanks for showing how TRP is so concerned with preventing rape that it'll weigh the pros and cons of a number of different rape-prevention strategies.

First of all, you are assuming that a rapist will always parallel the force used against them to resist the rape. No one knows if this is true or not. A rapist might target a specific woman because he believes she won't put up a fight or resist. Fighting back or trying to resist might deter a rapist and lower his sense of power.

Think of it this way, when someone want's to commit a mass shooting, they go to schools, colleges, disabled homes, or places where they know people will not have guns or not fight back. Where they won't be met with resistance. Now, why are none of these guys committing mass shootings at army bases or police stations? Because the police or military would shoot them dead the moment they walked in the place.
