Because you still have to put you self out there the most and get shot down, you just can't take it personally.

It's the same reason the person who need the money the least usually ends up making the best deals. They have the power to walk away which is the most powerful tool for anything dealing with other people.

The power to walk away is literally what leads you to the right mindset to attaining abundance, where as needing something is exactly the mind set that will push it away. I know that sounds woo woo, but there's a lot of truth to it. If you need something from someone else, it's going to subconsciously come out in your behavior and push them away.

You have to see what's possible. At the same time, you are taking the statement too literally. You shoot your shot, and if you win, you win. If you lose, you lose.
