Some RPillers often says that hypergamy means that women leave a man for a more attractive one. Others say it means that women go for the rich men. This guy here however says that hypergamy means that women are only attracted to men who are more attractive than them .

May I ask in what ways they have to be "more attractive" really ? More physically attractive? Richer? How do we objectively determine whether a man is "more attractive" than a women since these preferences are subjective and men and women tend to find different things attractive anyway ?

What is the actual definition of hypergamy?

How do we determine who is the "most attractive" partner in a relationship ?

How does it even make sense from an evo psych perspective ? (I mean I understand why women would want men with resources , but more "attractive" in general? How would evo psych explain this ?)
