Nah man, in all seriousness I think whoever this guy is he's entitled to his opinion. I think it's wrong overall, but as a general rule I find it more pragmatic to assume the worst of people so I don't care if he does the same. My actions and behavior can speak for themselves and I'd rather earn respect than have it handed to me because I'm a woman.

I can easily say all men are dumb brutes who only care about sex, and are so blinded by that sex drive they hand their spine and wallet over for a chance at it. They're lazy, unproductive, self-centered whiners who are waiting for their life to happen to them without taking it by the horns. At the same time if they don't get what they want they can and will take it by force because they are larger and stronger and selfish when it comes their desires.

Is that true universally? No, of course not. It still gives me a baseline of red flags I can watch out for and try to avoid. I wouldn't begrudge the same to men.

Tl;dr: I don't care much about the opinions of strange men on the internet. No need for me to take things like that personally when I know I'm not evil incarnate.

yep. Mostly agree. A lot of those traits do apply to most women to some extent, I extremely dislike the modern woman and the people who taught us it's okay to act the way we do. Almost every time I hear a female friend complain about the current man in her life I think the issues are her fault and could be resolved by her shutting up and realising that her poor little emotions are not the priority.

I think if anyone believes they're inherently useless and incapable of having good traits , they're going to have a bad time . It's a pretty unhealthy mindset to have about yourself.

I mean , we should accept criticism and learn from our mistakes , but believing you're inherently incapable of empathy and goodness ? Well, that's pretty fucked up and it won't get you anywhere . After all , if you believe it's your nature , why try to change at all ?

He's saying women are human and flawed just like men are. Its the generalization that you probably disagree on and that's where BP and RP will likely always disagree on.

It sounds weird but the fact that women aren't special snowflakes is something I needed to get drilled into my head to get out of the anger phase.

Note that I used to have so many beliefs about the value of women. I still keep them in a way, but in the spiritual realm. As persons they really dont live up to their collective spiritual strength.

From what I've seen of /u/Aerobus and his thoughts on RPW specifically, he seems to appreciate the fact they are trying to better themselves. It seems to lack the disdain he has for a basic bitch or other entitled women.

stupid, id take that as allowing emotions to beat their sense of logic, yes. women can be. but thats where meds come in, emotion suppressors - to those who just cannot function coz of too much emotions?

honor loyalty... there is no such thing, only the illusion of it. men, women, no different. what is constant, is selfishness and self centeredness in all humans. we just bury and camouflage it with pretty words and distractions.

and men? you are what you consume. a human is defined these days by the goods and services that he consumes.

His rants are just tribalism. You could replace "women" with "liberals" or "conservatives" or "Yankees fans" and it wouldn't look out of place from most other crap on the Internet.

His ego is tied to the relative status of his "team," so he looks for evidence that support his views and discounts countervailing evidence. Just another form of hamstering.
