tbh the whole "women can't be friends" is kind of a self fulfilling prophecy, isn't it? If you believe you can't have friends, you'll never try to connect with anybody. And then you will end up with no friends. That was certainly the case for me. But I really don't think it is true for most women. It works the other way around too, of course. How do you know that your female friends would never help you out if you never ask?

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you go into a relationship/friendship believing it will not work out, it is possible you will subconsciously sabotage it.

Women make great friends. Disadvantage is that your GF will be jealous. You don't have that with men. Generally men endure more before they tell you that they are uncomfortable, so it seems that women are less chill.

Inb4: tons of terpers complaining about female friends. Those people that complain talk about pre-TRP friendships. They don't actually know what they are talking about.

I use the same criteria for women that I do for men when it comes to friendship.

Do I value their company? Do they enrich my life? Are they willing to invest the same level of energy into the friendship? Are they entertaining to be around, and leave me feeling energized rather than drained? Do I have to take care of them and babysit them, or are they capable of making their own way and even including me?

Both men and women can meet that criteria.

Women friends can have an edge, however, because they can certainly entertain my eyes, and they often have no problem with me groping them when I'm drunk, lol. My male friends are much less appealing that way... ;)

Sure you can berate them for having next to no interests aside from social networking and socialising, but most men are the same. Some girl sitting around gossiping about whose dating whom, is just the same as a bunch of lads discussing football, both equally vapid, non-productive and pointless.

Good friendship material is rare, but men do not have a monopoly on it. Perhaps you could call it redpill-male solipsism.

This said, if a girl is gushing for you, she will really go the distance for you...

Most of my good friends have been women. Over the course of my lifetime, there have been times where I had more male friends and times when I had more female friends. I tend to have an easier time talking about deeper emotional, personal stuff with women. My relationships with men tend to be more surface-level.

I don't know about why women say that they don't like female friends. I know in one case, my female neighbor always had problems with female friends. I don't think it was so much the fault of the other women. I think it was because she was always competing for men with these other women, so she often found herself resenting her female friends.

It's not that women "aren't good friends". It's just that I generally only associate myself with women that I want to fuck. I only hang around good looking women, because I want to fuck them. I don't hang around fat women or ugly/homely women, because I don't see value in it. Oh, that fat girl has a great "personality"? So do my guy friends.

Secondly, any activity, outside of fucking, that I engage in, is always more fun with my guy friends. Riding my R1, playing a pickup game of basketball or football, drinking at a local bar, lifting weights, playing darts or pool, going to the beach, discussing world politics, you name it. All more fun with other guys than it is with girls.

Honestly, the only woman "friends" that I really have are the wives/girlfriends of my guy friends. And they're all pleasant enough to be around, but make no mistake, if they weren't fucking my guy friends, I wouldn't be hanging around them otherwise.

It's because a large portion of women have no need to develop a personality because they skate by on their looks and the benevolence of white knights. This creates a sense of entitlement that rarely allows for an equal friendship and their lack of personality makes conversing with them an act of killing brain cells. That being said, my best friend is a woman so it's not universal (obviously).

Women are self-centered, petty, and emotional. It's the primary reason why female friendships are so volatile and how two girls can easily go from beings BFFs one day to worst enemies the next.

I dont think women make worse friends than men. however I do know that a lot of times female friends tend to be more fake, like women tend to have a lot more friends than men, though quantity does not always mean quality. Also I think there is a belief that female friends get along just fine and are able to emotionally relate to each other, so when this is found out to be untrue we say 'women make bad friends'.

People don't have a lot of "good" friends in general. It's easier to chum around with people of your own gender as loose friends or acquaintances because you're more likely to have similar interests.

I don't agree with that notion at all. I think it just depends on the person and, while being on the same wave helps, sometimes you just have this great connection with someone totally different to you. Sometimes that's a man, sometimes a woman. Mind that I'm more on the boat of "men and women can't be friends", but there are always exceptions and, in this case, I think the exceptions are usually of high quality.

Because unless she's really ugly I will want to have sex with her which interferes with friendship(at least how I understand it) and also because they're untrustworthy.
