Eh I think Blue is more likely to do this, and I believe this is evident in the threads that seem to grow in maliciousness/snarkiness on their side.

What I'm more likely to do is address future arguments to my statements, much like a person who is explaining evolution would try to shut down the "if we came from monkeys why are there still monkeys" argument.

But there will always be people who say "no you don't get to discard that, MUH ETHICS IS JUST AS VALID AS YOUR ARGUMENT, CULTURE IS THE DEFAULT BEHAVIORAL MODIFIER GUISE!". In which case we must agree to disagree.

oh come on. Everyone around here knows that blue pillers are all about the outrage porn. If I thought blue pillers were pissed about the truthfulness of the red pill I would first have to find one who has read past the title of an article. I don't think they exist.

That is just plain old close mindedness.

If you cannot take new information nothing can be done.

It doesn't matter the reason why people criticize your ideas only that they have a point or not.

The best way to understand the truth(as opposed to common sense) is to cross reference.

People may have a vested interest in perpetuating bullshit if they are in a zero sum game. The fact that it will negatively affect them is reason enough to be bothered by truth.

Always remember that in injustice at least someone benefits.

In irrational people if they are negatively affected it must be wrong.

This whole false positive theory could be self-referencing; you see other people drawing conclusions based on their own theories and assume they are false positives, thus validating your own theory in and endlessly self reinforcing unfalsifiable loop of assumption making.
