Hey guys, my name is Fiscal_Clifford and i have been a Redpiller for about 8 months. A recent thread about working out for noobs was recently posted and has a lot of great content, but i feel like it is still a bit much/confusing for ultra noobs and unrealistic for hard cases, which struggle to simply "go out and start working out"

WHAT IS A HARD CASE

a hard case is a male on either end of the fitness spectrum: ultra skinny or very overweight. Hard cases have a very hard time getting fit because their bodies are already so embarrassing they don't know when/where/how to start. Well if one of these describe you, don't worry; i was were you are now about 8 months ago and i know exactly what can save you.

HOW TO GET FIT AS A HARDCASE

I was 6'2 and weighed 130 pounds. I had absolutely no muscle whatsoever and a strong breeze could blow me over. I felt very self conscious about this all the time and didn't want to ever go to the gym. Something a lot of people forget is that when you are not fit, the gym and going in public at all to workout is very intimidating. Here is what i would recommend you do:

Overweight

If you are overweight, you need to do what the other thread said and just walk a ton. There isn't much lifting you can do until you start losing weight, so walk walk walk and just eat healthy. Drink twice as much water as you do now and eat half the amount you do now. DO NOT do any fad diets or drastically alter your diet yet, all it will do is flounder after 2 weeks and you will go back to failing. I suggest that you simply cut those bad foods or soda in half for 2 weeks, then cut that amount in half after another 2, etc. Until you are eating and drinking like a normal person. Make sure to go on walks, stay away from treadmills because those will bore you. Diet is almost always more of the problem than exercise so just focus on that and don't forget about walks.

Underweight

You are exactly like i was, and i have some good news for you; within a month of hard work you will look FIVE TIMES BETTER. I was blown away with how good i felt and looked after such a short amount of time, and believe me it gets better and better the longer you do it. Step one is to eat more; one meal with peanut butter every day, and you should eat a banana and mixed nuts between every meal. (you are gonna need that banana to support your bones once you start stacking muscle on them). Now you need to go to the store and buy one of those dumbbell weight sets that have variable weights, they usually have silver looking plates and go from 10-25 or so in 5 pound increments. Bring those back home and get yourself some space to work out. I HIGHLY recommend getting these weights because you can work out by yourself and not worry about other people looking at your body. 5 days a week you are going to do this workout:

row pulls

clapping pushups

shoulder presses

curls

tricep pumps

shrugs

WATCH THIS

you want to do about 6-8 of each before you are too tired to finish. Once you are done immediately move onto the next. You get a break between each set, you should try and do 3 sets of this. I averaged about 10 minutes per set so you can do your entire workout, in your home, in only 30 minutes! Make sure to get some protein afterwards, and you are good to go. You can change the order of the exercises as you go too, that way your muscles don't get too used to the same thing. I promise you will see amazing results within a month and you will feel better, it truly is incredible what working out can do for you.

So there you have it, i am no good with reddit formatting but i wanted to make sure there was some sort of support for those people not yet comfortable with going to the gym, and believe me many of us have been there before. Once you can comfortably do this workout with the 25 settings then you will fit right in at a gym and can start branching out, and magical gainz will be yours for the taking.

Stay strong boys,

-Fiscal
