I've never understood Reddit's obsession with fedoras. How did it somehow become a negative thing. I've hardly seen anyone wearing them in my life. Seems like most people just use fedora as a way to symbolize basement dwelling neckbeard. I imagine people hating on fedoras are just as annoying as people that actually wear them.

Honestly I don't really care what anyone wears, much less obsess over them wearing it. But to answer your question, I don't really care either way on them. I don't really wear hats in general though.

Where does SRS get any of their ideas? But seriously, no. 'Dress well' is just as much a tenet of TRP as 'lift'. 9 times out of 10 a hat looks worse with any given outfit than just the top of your head.

It's a feeble attempt to lump TRP, MRAs and bronies together as virgin neckbeard misogynists.

Puerarchy.com is the off-site RedPill website run (in part) by TRP moderator /u/redpillschool.

This article was (I think) one of the founding articles on puerarchy.com (though I can't find it now). It's written by Ian Ironwood, a redpill author who has published books and is active in TRP (and I think co-runs the puerarchy.com venture with RPS?). At the very least, the article is all over TRP-sphere as is Ironwood.

Not just any hat. Buy a black fedora, in your size, as good as you can afford.

No position is universal, but here we have an authoritative TRP source arguing that a fedora is the single most important change on your road through TRP.

Would make a good debate topic. For redpillers that disagree, what's your reaction to the article?

I'd wear one, but I have curly hair, so it just ends up looking goofy.

My wife, however, can pull off a fedora - it's pretty hot, actually.

I know a guy who frequently wears a fedora. He got it from his grandfather and he's quite proud of it.
