Why do guys orbit women? My LTR has a few and I can't understand this

The real question here is: Why does she need these guy friends?

Most women are addicted to other peoples validation. They need some frame of reference of value, and orbiter men tend to over validate a women's worth. Which makes them feelz really good.

I don't allow my girl to have orbiters. If she needs any other mans validation than mine, then she is an attention seeking personality. Which, in my opinion, can lead to poor choices, since she obviously doesn't have an intrinsic value.

Be wary of women with orbiters.

He will stick around her and constantly validate her whenever she requests it. Also known as "friendzone." She will keep him around because he will do anything for her and provide validation, giving small hints that he might eventually win her love- but he never will. Typical signs of orbiter status: likes and comments on new facebook photos. Go-to guy when girl has problem with boyfriend. Also known as emotional tampon.

it occasionally works. Whenever shit would hit the wall in my relationships, the orbiters would make a move on my bitches, or would make moves on them during relationships. Apparently sometimes it works, but not often.

You say that now because of what you learned from this sub. To answer your question guys orbit because they are waiting for you to fuck up for a chance to bang your girl. Believe it or not this does and can happen.

We don't advocate doing this strategy because it often results in a waste of time. And when this does work, the woman is giving them signals and giving them vibes that she will sleep with them when shit hits the fan.

The second reason guys orbit is kind of similar to the first. The girl is leading them on so she can get extra attention. This is far more common than the first scenario. She has absolutely no interest in fucking them, but she is more than happy to gain the extra attention from these guys as she knows they are interested.

In my opinion I wouldn't date a girl seriously if she keeps orbitors around. I dated one like that before and I have a lot of female acquaintances (not friends) who has tons of orbitors and their relationships never last.

As it becomes increasingly common for women to aggressively creep-shame guys they're not interested in instead of merely rejecting them, it is unsurprising that more and more men turn to the passive approach of orbiting.

The idea is that when she's finally exhausted of trying to tame the bad boys, she'll settle down with her favorite orbiter. Which does happen all the time, although it might take years. They're biding their time. It's a time consuming but low-risk strategy.

When I was a beta bitch, I fell madly for this chick I knew for a few weeks and she was reciprocating. Then all the sudden she flakes and I was shocked when she agreed to meet up with me the next week.

She met up with me to inform me she was starting a relationship with another guy, but we got along so well and had so much in common she still wanted to hang out from time to time. She wanted me to orbit and if things went south with her man then I would of had a shot.

But fuck that shit. These orbiters are miserable waiting for a shot that will likely never come, and these women know this but still keep them on the hook.

If this girl ever comes back to me, it will be strictly casual as I could never LTR this kind of woman.
