I wanted to contact you and suggest do a companion seminar on why women abuse men. There is such a social stigma of shame for male victims of domestic violence that I feel this is a great opportunity for to educate.

A CDC survey taken in 2010, found that 40% of the victims of severe, physical domestic violence are men. That is such a shocking figure that I feel people just don’t know about. If you are already planning something on this topic disregard my email. Thank you for all the great work you are doing to help educate people on DV.

EDIT Also I'm going to put this here. Everyone saying to look for a new job. I'm in a union at a large government agency so literally I could kill someone and I still couldn't be fired until a conviction. I didn't email the HR dept, it was actually the wellness department but I didn't think anyone would know what that is.

Yes, we have a wellness department and their sole purpose is to handle all the diversity celebrations/training and Employee assistance to deal with depression etc. As well as health challenges etc.
