Your question is really akin to, "Which tastes better, apples or oranges?" The answer is completely subjective. If you like a girl and believe she is good for you, then most likely she is good for you. The linchpin to the situation is not her, but you.

Are you making your analysis based on an accurate understanding of women in general and her specifically? If your thought process is. "I've found the one, I can trust this girl to remain faithful in all situations and to remain loyal and never leave, again in all situations." You are in a very bad situation. Not because of her, but because of your inability to accurate understand women in general and her in particular.

If, on the other hand, you are accurately able to determine that: given this girl's back ground, where she's taken her self given that back ground and where she seems pointed to go in the future you believe that she will likely continue to want from life the same things you will want from life. And, you understand the burdens I'm placing on myself by undertaking a LTR with this girl, including foregoing other options. And, you know that irregardless of how much time and effort you've invested in the LTR it can, and will, disappear in a second given the right circumstances (that may well be out of your control.) Still, given all of that, and being sure that you've eliminated all male hamsterization, you want a LTR with this girl, then there you go.

There are no guarantees in life. Any choices you make have the potential to fail and the potential to turn into disasters. The difference between the two tends to be the number of pretty lies you allowed yourself to believe about the situation.

I like oranges more.

There are no guarantees in life. Any choices you make have the potential to fail and the potential to turn into disasters. The difference between the two tends to be the number of pretty lies you allowed yourself to believe about the situation.

This is probably the most accurate and truest comment I've ever read in whole reddit. Thanks for your input, I'll surely keep an eye open and question my emotional states at every stage of the relationship.

My guess is you are probably 22 and this is your first long time girlfriend?

All the nightmares that form the basis of Red Pill probably haven't happened to you yet and so you are blissfully unaware.

We learn the real nature of humanity when pressed to the extremes. During polite civilization the true nature can be hidden.

In my experience, a woman will always remain "in love" (faithful, sexual, respectful, submissive, and happy) as long as she perceives your value (frequently referred to as SMV) to be higher than hers. This is the way she "keeps" you - by treating you the way you want to be treated.

There are two factors that can ruin the feelings of "love" that she has for you. One is higher value from another competing male, and the other is reduction of your value / increasing of her value to the point that you're no longer more valuable than she is.

So long as you're constantly striving to be a better man, you should never have to worry about an imbalance of value with her. The only other piece of the puzzle is the competition, which sometimes wins and sometimes loses. That's the nature of the game.

EVERY long-term relationship adheres to these guidelines. So long as you know the rules, playing the game shouldn't be terribly difficult.

So you basically mean I should always try to improve my own value in order to give her a lower value? Easy as that. Greatly explained, thanks for your comment, Bud!

You should reproduce this as a post because it's the most succinct and accurate exposition of LTR dynamics I've seen. No further explanation is needed.

It also implicitly recognises the Red Pill truth that the #1 thing you can do to maintain your successful and healthy LTR is to focus on yourself - meaning your SMV - as per the teachings of TRP. This is contrary to the pure fantasy doled out as relationship advice everywhere else, which states that the best way to maintain your relationship is to focus on your girl.

And you rightly noted that even if you do focus on self-improvement, there is the inevitable risk that a higher SMV man comes along and there is nothing you can do about this, BUT I would wager that if you are still improving your SMV all the time, the risk that your girl swings branches to him is much lower than it would be if you had ceased improving, even though his SMV is higher than yours in both cases.

an important factor to consider OP is how long have you and your girlfriend been together? In my relationship there was a long "honeymoon period" where she was totally awesome - she'd cook for me, sex 2-3 times daily, very friendly and democratic in how we spent our time. Unfortunately it seems like this is something girls do when they are trying to win you over into committing to them - once you start to get comfortable the demands, sex withholding etc start to come into play.

I suspect if you can hold frame well enough that the dread game should keep her in check in the longer term. Here's hoping you've found a unicorn and can continue to have a great relationship with this girl but do keep an eye out for signs that the mask is slipping.

In no way do I view women negatively. I like women and enjoy their company. A lot. But AWALT is true. Years ago I was with my dream geek girl. Boy, did I find out that geek part only went so far.

For starters it's 'treat' not ''threat'' very different tone there.

Secondly no, your gf is in no way special and you should continue to operate on awalt principles.

Whelp, sorry, Englishs not my native language. I'll quickly correct it! I'm glad that I know the difference between than and then.

Whelp, sorry, Englishs not my native language.

Got that, just a warning as that could be taken very wring.

[–]Grasdaggel[S] 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Didnt you meant "wrong"? Hah, got ya!

[+]MagicGainbow-7 points-6 points-5 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't be a dick, i is beside o on the keyboard, a spelling mistake like that is obvious, using threat instead of treat can lead to trouble.

The problem with 50/50 is that eventually it's 60/40 and guess who is going to be the 60... She's going to make sure it's her so you should make sure it's you.

[–]tombreck2 -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You didn't mention anything relevant to your gf: age, partner count, relationship with father, drinking habits, slutiness of friends, was she in a sorority, etc.

All of these matter more than whether or not she wants to do the dishes with you.

[–]babydocnorman -1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

OP, sounds like you're in a solid relationship. AWALT is real, though. It's biology, so no woman is exempt, not even yours. Learn from others, maintain your game and keep your eyes wide open.

hows your opinion about woman, that does not complain about anything

A unicorn?

Seriously doubt it. After you marry her you will find that horn is really just a cardboard paper towel tube taped to her head.

what would your idea of a good woman?

Loyal, horny, no gag reflex, wants to please me, sweet, demure.

Are there any woman that are good?

No, all humans are born into Original Sin. There are women that are tolerable.
