context matters here.

in my case my texting app is bugged so i use this line alot on everyone. i can give benefits of the doubt here depending on what we were doing or talking about. or how long it took.

24 hours tho? nah she just didn't want to reply at the time , and dont want you mad at her. ignore and carry on as you want. dont show emotions.

the real red flag line so you know when to next someone is, " i was going to reply but i forgot"

Win through your actions not through argument. You know that she does not value your time and her interest is low...showing that it makes you feel any kind of way does not benefit you.

Pull back from her until she starts to show more respect and interest. I would go radio silent and soft next.

First reply: ok cool.

Then cut contact until she initiates. Even when she does initiate... respond but do not ask her to hang out. She must do that. Even when she asks you to hang out you must be busy, but you can offer an alternate day.

Rinse and repeat.

Not saying this is what happened here, but it's not uncommon for me to forget to reply to texts. Don't worry about little things like this. If she's interested, she'll let you know if she wants to see you.

I wouldn't pull she plug just yet. This actually happens to me sometimes, where I read a text from someone and think of a response in my head then put the phone away. A few hours later I really think I actually typed and sent the response, and wonder why the girl isn't texting back. With that being said, this only happens with girls I'm not really that interested in.

However, if you were important enough to her, and she seemed your attention, she wouldn't have forgotten, is the main point here. People forget shit, including women. I’ve honestly made the mistake before. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but it’s possible. I’m not a typical texter, I’ve gone 3-4 days without responding to a question just because I genuinely forget and I’m busy.

I type something out, get interrupted, think I hit send. 6 hours later I realize I never hit send. 24 hours is a long time to not realize unless I truly don’t care about the person I’m texting.

I’ve also read a text on my watch and I think of a response and just tell myself I’ll send it next time I grab my phone. Well again, it’s 4 hours before I pick up my phone and by then I’ve forgotten all about it. I remember thinking of a response so I think I’ve sent it.

At the end of the day, who cares? Ignore how long it took her to respond, it honestly doesn’t matter. Whether she genuinely forgot or not, it really shouldn’t affect you.
