I was hooking up with my friends boss (all 3 of my friends work there) for a few weeks a few weeks back. I literally left her at a bar, mid date because she had decided to grind with another dude. I gave her no explanation, just headed home.

Skipping details, just ghosted her. She’s been asking my friends about me. My friends hang out with her and her friends fairly often, I’ve been doing other things those nights, honestly been traveling for work and school almost every weekend since then.

Today she texted to apologize. I’m not upset with her nor do I really have any desire to sleep with her. Frankly, I have better options these days, I’m on a hot streak. But I would like to go out with my friends and her friends again. She’s having a party tomorrow that I know she wants me to go to (literally can’t, party in the other city I live in that night).

Do I need to respond to her apology? Or ignore it and when I see her just act like it didn’t happen?

Update: I did end up texting her as she was borderline harassing my friends that work with her about why I didn’t answer. I said “no worries, you’re good.” She seemed chill about it in the text back, told me to come over whenever to drink, doesn’t want it to be awkward etc. Evidently she was not cool with it. She cornered my friends and asked where I was, why I didn’t go to her party last night, told them to stop covering for me. They literally told her I was in another city, and she didn’t believe them. She knows I live in two cities. This has truly become hilarious to my friends and I.
