The original red pill.

I consider myself old guard YouTube MGTOW (even though that's a mouthful), and more interested in truth-seeking than endless woman-bashing. I get that this subreddit exists in contrast to reddit's The Red Pill subreddit, but the original red pill to me, coming not just from pick-up artists, but also from MGTOW and the men's rights movement, was about, in the most simple terms, gender differences.

Stating some obvious stuff. Scientifically speaking, men and women in general, have different brains, and these brain differences have affected us as a species behaviorally. In the study of gender differences and how they affect us socially, there is fact and there is theory.

In some cases, there is murky ground between fact and theory, I see gynocentricism or female-centricism as a reality, proven by the endless failure of the men's rights movement to gain mainstream support or enact change, and going along with the concept of male disposability which I also see as fact, which goes along with females needing to be more protected because eggs are more expensive than sperm, with this manifesting culture-- but I can also see how there are female-leaning gendered issues, and how focus on this would make some people see gynocentricism as a theory rather than a fact. They may also see male disposability as a theory, and that's also fine, but if I see them in a position of power over the fate of men's issues they will be my ideological enemy, and that's just me being honest. To clarify what I mean by "ideological", even logic and critical-thinking are ideology in what I see as this word and its variants dictionary definition to be. I'm against circumcision, I'm against drugging children for ADD, I'm against the draft, I'm against gendered sentencing disparities, I'm against the bias towards males in mental health and schools regardless of whether or not others believe in it, I'm against the current laws of marriage and the family court, I'm for male issues for life, because if people like me don't make the effort to stand for them, then I see the male disposability that many do not believe only strengthens with more suffering and death.

With that said, from what I've skimmed through on here I am in agreement with this place (though I haven't read any of the cult arguments), but I want to get at the fact that the original red pill was about gender differences, inclusive of the brain, and that it was mixed with different theories from individuals because there has been an academic void that created a demand for theorizing. Theory is good for progressing fact. Obviously theory becomes a problem when it becomes dogmatic, and this has happened in both the men's movement and the women's movement. I consider myself red pill and a red piller, but not brainwashed, and trying to align myself with evidence-based probability and avoiding logical fallacies as much as possible within my human limitations (which happens to be my current definition of critical-thinking). I can understand the semantic basis for this subreddit relating to TRP, but I just wanted to give my two cents about what the original red pill means based on my view of the entire men's movement over the years.
