We all have bad days at work every once in a while. The advice I have always received, is to use the commute (if you have one) to decompress and prepare yourself to fulfill your role as husband/father once you step through that house door.

One recent evening, I was fulfilling those roles dutifully, but internally I was still a little aggravated about a few things that had happened at the office that day. The wife picked up on this, and asked what was wrong. I told her simply that I was aggravated about something at work. She of course wanted to know more.

In general I do not discuss work with my wife - it seems counter productive to red-pill goals to involve her in whatever it is that may be perturbing me.

What approach do you take? We are called to be "one" with our wives after all, but if I reveal any sort of emotional distress about work, or anything else for that matter, I get the sense that this lowers SMV. Is it better to just share frustrations with brothers in Christ and maintain frame with the wife? Or is this robbing the marriage of something?
