Things were going great, I literally just secured a date with a girl who I used to work with (so, not shitting where I eat, cuz we don't currently work together anymore) through text. She said "sounds like a plan!" to my idea of going to the beach and showing her some cool things she hasn't seen before there. But then I asked "can I tell you something else" and I told her about my friend who passed away today. I didn't say it any whiny way, just the facts of it. Like, I JUST found out about this and it was a friend who we both would see at work because she was a frequent customer. Since telling her that, though, she isn't responding. Should I just give her time, maybe she didn't look at her phone? Or would this REALLY drive some girls away?
