Good question. Let's take this from the beginning.

Female wants good genes for her baby. But human females become completely helpless during late gestation and early childbirth. Plus human baby needs a massive amount of time to be able to independently be able to survive - like ten years. So she not only wants a male with good genes, but also someone who will provide for her. Most of the time, this is compromise, so she will settle for someone who is willing to share resources with her, but doesn't have as good genes as she could've had.

However, in order to get the best of both worlds, she will cheat with an alpha male to have his baby while fooling her long term mate that it's his baby. This is possible because the male cannot know for certain it's his baby, so he can be fooled. This is the essence of the Alpha Fucks Beta Bucks strategy. As can be seen, it's logical, and optimal for the female.

Now we get to the question of how come if only the good genes are selected then we have a bunch of bad genes today. If humans only followed their biological tendencies, it would indeed be the case that only the good genes would make it to the next generation. But at some point humans saw that living in societies was far more beneficial than small groups. A society is based on the productivity of it's citizens. And here comes the masterstroke of "enforced monogamy". By ensuring that even beta males were guaranteed sex and offspring, drove their productivity through the roof. Married men work far more than bachelors, who are more often than not leeching off of society than contributing to it.

This is why we see that most societies today are the ones that were able to survive for hundreds of years and enforce monogamy. This concept works by curbing sexual promiscuity of both men and women (especially women), for the benefit of society at large. But this also why not everyone is 6 ft etc etc. Because beta males are also being selected.

End note. Now that we're heading towards a tribalistic form of society where there is no punishment for promiscuity, you can see the destabilizing effect clearly. The alpha males are getting all the female attention, beta males are getting milked like cash cows in the form of friendzone and marriage, and then you have sexually frustrated incels who are killing people.

It varies for each girl what their ideal genetic type is. Its just the 6 foot thing is mainstream.

Human "attractiveness" works pretty much like all other animal who has a "mate"

A human can tell right away (or think) that perceived characteristics are attractive, the symmetry of the face, proportions of the body, smell, etc. To other things more "external" like social status, power, etc.

Which are good ways to select a mate that can protect and provide.

But if you deconstruct all those "characteristics" they are not necessarily signs of "good genetics", especially the "external ones" that became more and more important ass civilization moved forward.

Bad genetics exist, the thing you dont understand is just a few decades ago woman didn’t have rights. They just couldnt choose a men they perceived as “good genetics” alot of rape happend alot of unwanted marriages happend and thats how for generations bad genetics came to be.

Look at 2020 now, alot more taller, healthier and beautiful childeren are being born.

And look how hard it has got for alot of males to get a girlfriend or hookup you dont see these things?

Because females got rights now and can be picky, so they go for the “good genes” high quality males.

Good genetics now should be intelligence. However female slut behaviour is creating a gene pool of dumber and dumber fucks - over the last 30 years everything has been dumbed down meanwhile the smartest people are a smaller and smaller percentage.

This is why we have barely any engineers left to build and manage nuclear reactors, the fact they had to get retired people to help build space rockets etc... ( Yes this really has happened).
