I was on a first date the other day, we were talking about our all-time favorite books. She mentioned Twilight Series and some other garbage, and then I talked a bit about my favorite authors (Nietzsche, Huxley). She playfully said "Wow, you're such a nerd!" Pretty light shit-test, and in my opinion a good sign that she was initiating teasing. My response was, " Well if I'm a nerd, I'm going to need to borrow your glasses" (she was wearing a big pair of glasses and I had none).

It seemed to go over decently well, but I've actually gotten versions of this particular shit-test several times, since I'm an engineer who has some other 'nerdy' interests and hobbies as well. So I'd love some help brainstorming the best possible responses to this.
