It’s weird to think where I’ve gotten. I wonder why is it so difficult to blend into society after long-term parenting through my negative dad and my manipulative leverage controlling mom. They were divorced since I was born. A large portion on my high school life was transitioning between the negative relationships between both of them. I’m not mad nor depressed about the past but I find myself emotionless in a lot of situations in life. Dealing with a long term relationship breakup, I’d be fine in a couple of hours. Having my car break down, I realize the struggle it will put me through the next few days. I don’t know what it’s called but I feel like this traumatic scenes with my parents Of disloyalty and these huge transitions in life(moving houses, having no financial support, forced to be independent at a early age) has caused me to mature extremely young. I look at other people around me and don’t feel connected to the level of difficulty one stresses about nor do I know how people can stress about certain things in there life. I feel like the pain and traumatic stress I’ve been through has scarred my mental processing of the things/people I meet. I wonder why can I not adjust my thoughts to empathize what people are going through as well as how simple some people live. I don’t wanna be narcissistic about my maturity but I don’t think that’s what I would call it. Being in college I wonder if I will find new ways to empathize and relate to others more however I find it challenging to connect with people at this age range. Do others have this sense of maturity that makes it hard for themselves to empathize and support other people’s problems? Being red pill, what advice could you give me?
