I used to smile when I am approaching before I know red pill and learn PUA. And the girls were responding fine.

I haven't approach women for a while and meanwhile I knew about the red pill and read The Rational Male. I started approaching girls recently and I don't smile when I am approaching now, but the girls seem to respond worse.

It confused me because I think I become tougher and with more "alpha" mindset now. I think smile is some kind of accommodation and beta character, and Rollo says it's a female character to be emotional expressive, which I think smile is definitely one, but women seem to respond better to that? It's not a problem if I go back to the smile approach but it makes me doubt on the conclusion of red pill.

Nonetheless, I am not very sure about this since it may due to seemingly lack of energy or other body language problems.

So red pillers, what are your experiences about smiling during your game?

BTW, I am trying to rebuild my game system according to the rational male, I think there are some fundamental difference between mindsets of PUA and Red Pill, any suggestions or experiences?
