In addition, the only person who has 100% access to the money with zero conditions and responsibilities is the woman in the relationship. The man has no rights to the money he has put into the pool and will be punished for any unauthorised use of said money.

This is also not taking into account the increased costs associated with having more than one person attached to this pool of money.

A single male is capable of living a minimalist lifestyle, therefore, he can earn less money but have more disposable income than if he was attached to a woman. The cost of living is a huge factor that's being overlooked.

To tackle the problem of increased expenses and the fact that you're the primary earner, you're going to have to increase your workload to the point where you're working yourself to death.

Also, once you attach yourself to a woman, you are now on a randomised timer for losing half of everything you've earned and more.

Assuming the tweet author talks about men, their statement is based on four very big assumptions:

1) The wife has at least as high level of income as yourself

2) She actually pays 50% of all bills

3) Her living expenses don't exceed yours

4) The expenses of the family as a whole don't exist.

5) the points 1-4 will remain unchanged for the forseeable future.

And even then you have double everything, but you only have 50% of it, so what's the point? And I didn't even mention about legal horrors the wife would hold over your head and things you would have to put up with to avoid them.

This assumption is somehow even stupider than the first one, because this one is assuming that your wife literally has no expenses at all. If you are single, you only need a studio or a 1BR. If you have a girl, you need to get a bigger place, meaning your rent/mortgage goes up. And that's just one example. Same applies to food, electricity bill, etc.

It also assumes that your wife will actually pay for half of your expenses (in reality they often literally don't even chip in at all whatsoever) and also ignores the fact that women demand ridiculously stupid and overpriced shit like expensive dinners at restaurants and brand name clothing/products, but the first part of this assumption is so fucking stupid it's funny. Even if you're retarded enough to believe in egalitarianism, this assumption is still dumb as shit.
