Yes so toxic and just stressful to know that girls and women have to deal with such things, but also it's damaging because there is nothing we can do to help. I'm planning to go back into mentoring once the pandemic restrictions are over, hopefully building up girls and women IRL would be good. I used to sub to Black People Twitter because their used to be a lot of funny commentary but I've noticed a lot of toxic b.s. on there do I no longer visit. There was a reposted tweet there about a a guy watching porn with his wife, and then he said "I want you to suck my dick like that" and she said "give me a dick like that to suck, and I will" and he then had a friend get him because he was going to move out. So I wrote something like "hmm I wonder whose idea it was to watch porn together? I bet she felt uncomfortable and insecure (rightfully so) and was just trying to be a good "wife" to him. I think when he asked her to "suck his dick" like the girl in the porn she said F-this and advocated for herself. He is porn, sick with a limp dick, and now a bruised ego. I am soooooo proud of her!! I hope she finds a kind, caring, nurturing man with a good considerate heart and a great dick 💖🧚🏿‍♀️" and recieved more than like 100 downvotes 😭 I also had a girl who said that she enjoys watching porn with her boyfriend (I checked her post history and believe she was a real girl, she also considered herself a "feminist" so I commented about the damages of the porn industry and she dud not reply, also guys accusing me of saying women don't like sex, and is it not okay to share what you want sexually from your wife!? Lol so much nonsense. So yeah I think it's best for our mental health to unsub from toxic subs and also block anyone in r/all that posts something sexist/racist/misogynistic....trying to make reddit safer and more fun for myself.
