Pricing for me was about a grand with insurance.

Nutting? I enjoy busting nuts without getting a girl pregnant firing away with reckless abandon is great. The procedure didn't change any of the volume or the pleasure of the nuts I busted. It took away the worry.

I have 1kid that I got tricked into. I didn't want more. This is permanent. If you want kids then don't do this. If you want it reversed, don't do it.

It's expensive to reverse and usually doesn't take.

The procedure itself was very easy. It was a quick recovery and ached a small bit, but not even enough to really categorize as ,"pain".

If you want kids, don't do it. If you don't want kids, I would recommend it 100%.

Absolutely the best thing I ever did.

Got it around 35, the best version, never had kids, never wanted kids. Would have gotten it at 25 if docs did that kind of thing.

They stick a needle in your balls if you ever want kids because you're still making sperm, it just doesn't have transit, every 6 months or so I notice a clip edge, but painless.

No change in drive, load, or anything else except for the 2 weeks of fading discomfort as a result of having minor surgery.

Was completely covered by my insurance so I have no idea. It was only one visit for the procedure, you have to bring back two samples afterward to ensure the operation was successful. Most times urologists will want to consult with you first to give you a "cooling off" period and make sure you really want this. I guess I was convincing.

The procedure itself was easy. Talk to the urologist. Most want a consult appointment to see if you're serious and competent in your wishes, then schedule another day for the procedure. I must have been convincing because he had me hop up on the table right after our chat.

Quick shot of no-needle jet anaesthetic to the scrotum, feels like somebody flicked it with their finger.

Chatted as the meds numbed then he made a small single incision (I can't find the scar now) in the middle through which he could reach both vas.

Slight cramping as he pulled a loop of vas deferens out through the hole. He snipped off a section (white spaghetti) then cauterized (burned shut) both ends. After that he added tiny metal clips to both ends as well. The body is apparently pretty good at reversing the procedure.

Same treatment on the other side. Glued up the incision.

Swelling and pain for the next two weeks, but I was back to work in 3 days. Every once in a while you'd get a sharp twinge, but it was basically a deep ache like you feel after getting kicked in the nuts.

Had to bring back two sperm samples to make sure it was a success, After a week or so, and not your first bust... gotta clear the tubes of potential leftovers) and that was it. (I fucked with the front desk clerk and placed a full 120cc specimen cup full of skim milk on the counter - {normal ejaculate volume is about 5-10cc}, then opened and drank it when questioned. I'm an asshole.)

Function unaffected. I can feel the clips if I go looking for them, but it's otherwise normal.

You still have to worry about STD's of course, so I still condom up with new partners until we don't have to.

Not having the anxiety of potentially getting a woman pregnant every time you fuck her is amazing. You can just concentrate on the fucking.

Being able to bury yourself balls deep in her and just fill her without concern or rubber insulation is AMAZING. Now a woman can and should be on birth control, but this way I have the ultimate birth control. And that makes a difference. You're not dependent on whether she remembers to take a pill.

I also believe women desire to be ejaculated in on some deep level. I noticed an increase in my plate retention times.

It also cemented my belief that I was not ever going to be monogamous, that I would never settle down and have a family. There's a difference between knowing that intellectually and actually becoming incapable of reproducing. I'll never be trapped by an "oops" baby.

If you know you don't want kids, there are no downsides. I highly recommend.

If you have one partner, a copper iud works well.
I’m shocked at the amount of people saying “if you don’t have kids, you fail at life” - I thought this was TRP.

If you're done having kids, or want it be 100% sure you don't want them, fucking do it! I had one done after our second kid, and there's nothing better than shooting loads without the consequences lol. Here's my experience: 1) Had a consultation with the doctor during which you're asked how many kids you have, do you want any more, etc, and get an overview of the procedure. 2) the doctor prescribed me an anti-anxiety med and a pain killer.

3) Went in for the procedure, and was awake and chatting the whole time while doc fiddled with my balls. I didn't take the anti anxiety meds, but I hear it helps some guys.

4) Soreness set in about 2 hrs after the anesthesia wore off, and it sort of felt like that feeling you get just before the pain of getting hit in the balls kicks in. I felt that way for a good 24 hrs, but I made it through, and I only needed Advil, ice, and a pain pill to help me sleep.

5) You're fully functional within 72 hrs.

6) Now, before you go shooting any loads in anyone, It's going to be very important you make sure you nut 20x in 30 days. You can do it with help or without help, but you need to nut, at minimum, 20x to flush out any active sperm.

7) Submit a sample to the lab, and one week later you get notification you're now shooting blanks.

Depends on what reason... to stop sperm jacking? Yes probably the best option.

But say for STDs? No.

Vasectomy/pull out method is fine for LTRs/long term fwb that you trust.

New plates/ONS require condoms.

I got a vasectomy about 4 years ago. I always knew I never wanted kids. Even at 20. But the doctor convinced me to wait. Well when I turned 29 I just knew for sure I never wanted kids. He didn't give me a hard time. It cost me about 700 dollars. Insurance wouldn't pay for it at all. I was sore for a few days but nothing horrible. They told me to do 20-30 ejaculations before getting tested. Overall the experience was easy. No difference in the amount or pleasure per orgasm. I LOVE not worrying about it now. There was always a part of me that had anxiety with girls over this. I was afraid i would accidentally knock a woman up. Now I'm glad I don't have to worry about it. To just unload in a woman and not worry is a great experience.

Seriously bro, have you tried everything with condoms first before going for this drastic solution? Run through this checklist before you fucking castrate yourself for a 20% pleasure increment:

- Quit ALL porn and masturbation to increase sensitivity

- Try custom sized condoms

- Try lube/spit combinations on the outside/inside of the condom

- Longer foreplay till you're practically edging, then wear the condom and fuck

Seriously, the risk/reward of vasectomies just doesn't compute. It'll be the biggest regret of your life if you ever change your mind. PS: vasectomies are generally not reversible, don't trust the sales pitch, and you can go back to condoms from raw sex, that's just lame, low self-control talk.
